Won't they need a vaccine pass or testing to get into the country so surely they would show vaccine pass or negative test receipt to person at the door..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How they going to show this QR Code though that we all now need?
Plus they might only want NHS App vaccine passports as foreign ones could make it easier to forge
Such a waste of time and money and it’s pointless so it’s just no other reason other than control and spying

Basically just an excuse for spying and control tbh, this isn’t because of COVID anymore because nobody under 40 even needs a vaccine
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep. There has to be mass protests against this. The biggest assault on our liberties in centuries.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100%
Thank fack Starmer finally got off his fat ass and said something.
Issue is
A) How long would this last for, I’d assume indefinitely because it’s not even going to properly be workable until September / October and by then we’d have had 6-7 months of barely any deaths or hospital admissions so what’s the point in the first place
B) Also then opens it up to making everyone have the fackin flu vaccine too
Constant misinformation is so frustrating, Whitty only did an interview today saying in a year or two it’ll be like Flu and we have to learn to live with it and accept deaths and there won’t be any more lockdowns
So who is Boris taking advice from? Does Hancock have him blackmailed or something? Local elections are going to be interesting in May, Tories are going to get decimated
Find this very odd, considering Tobias is usually pro government and supports everything

COVID VAX PASSPORTS ?
We must think this through.
Incredible progress with the VAX roll out suggests we can progressively lift restrictions without risk of dividing society & stirring tensions.
This could all just be being used for two reasons
1) Increase vaccine take up
2) Have Tory MP’s oppose it, and then it gets abandoned and then they come out smelling of roses for the local elections especially after Lib Dem’s and Labour have opposed it so now Tories might feel like they need to do something

Derek Chauvin trial: Paramedics say Floyd had no pulse when they arrived
He told the court he initially thought that a struggle was taking place when he and his partner arrived on the scene, but quickly realised that Mr Floyd, 46, was limp.
Asked about video footage showing him gesturing to Mr Chauvin, Mr Bravinder said he wanted to "have him move" and this was "so we could move the patient".
His partner Derek Smith checked Mr Floyd's neck for a pulse but could not find one. "In lay terms, I thought he was dead," Mr Smith said.
"When I arrived on scene there was no medical services being provided to the patient," he added.
What did Floyd's girlfriend say?
Courteney Ross is the first person to testify who personally knew Mr Floyd.
She told the court that she met him in 2017 in the lobby of a Salvation Army homeless shelter, where he worked as a security guard and she was waiting to see the father of her son. She said Mr Floyd asked if she would pray with him.
"It was so sweet and at the time I had lost a lot of faith in God," she said, adding that they kissed that night.
Ms Ross said they both suffered from chronic pain, and were addicted to opioids.
A statement from Floyd family lawyers Ben Crump and Antonio Romanucci denounced "defence attempts to construct the narrative that George Floyd's cause of death was the Fentanyl in his system".
"We want to remind the world who witnessed his death on video that George was walking, talking, laughing, and breathing just fine before Derek Chauvin held his knee to George's neck, blocking his ability to breathe and extinguishing his life," it said.
Jurors also heard from David Pleoger, the supervising police officer on duty that day, who said he only learned later in the evening that Mr Chauvin had restrained Mr Floyd by kneeling on his neck.
He told the court that an officer should stop using the knee as a restraint once "you get control of the situation" and the suspect is in handcuffs.
"Leave someone on their stomach for too long, their breathing will be compromised, so you'll want to get them up out of that position," he said.
Defence lawyer Eric Nelson sought to play down the significance of his testimony by saying Mr Pleoger had "not reviewed the entirety of the evidence in this particular case".
Defence lawyers have indicated they will argue that Mr Floyd died of an overdose and poor health, and the force used was reasonable.
Footage from both witnesses' mobile phones and the police officers' bodycams have been shown at length. At one point, Mr Floyd can be heard pleading with officers: "I'm not a bad guy", while the police officer is heard telling a bystander: "We had to control this guy because he's a sizeable guy. It looks like he's probably on something.
Several witnesses have also taken the stand, including four children who were under the age of 18 at the time of the arrest, and spoke of their trauma at what they saw.
Shop employee Christopher Martin - who inadvertently set off the tragic events after alerting his manger to a fake $20 bill Mr Floyd had used to buy some cigarettes - has spoken of his "disbelief and guilt". "If I'd have just not taken the bill, this could have been avoided," he told the court.

The 20 minutes of George in the store doesnt show he was fine. He looks off his head.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I dunno about that. I didn't know Floyd so it's hard for me to judge whether he was off his head from just a few minutes of video.
Also, they don't say he was fine. They say " he was walking, talking, laughing, and breathing just fine".
That's not debatable IMO.

I'm not sure what footage you refer to, but ifnuts what I think it is, that footage seems dodgy to me because it's media that said there was a struggle. It just shows the cops acting a bit frantic and closing the door, which can happen during an arrest. I didn't see George Floyd in that video, I assume he was inside the car already? I also haven't seen any video where he says he can't breathe before Chauvin knees him.
If I'm mistaken in regard to which video, then please link me.

Footage kinda makes it worse IMO. If he is a person experiencing breathing difficulties and he stated that, then why would you put your knee on his neck when he's handcuffed and being held down by two other cops?

Vaccine uptake is at 93% currently
Honestly makes you wonder what they’re playing at with these passports and mandatory check ins

Exactly. Footage also demonstrated Floyd pleading 20 that he couldn't breath.
Chauvin (IMO) had ample opportunity to alleviate the pressure on his neck, whilst still comfortably restraining him.
