I think United will be second this season.

I wasn't aware of this PSG speculation with my original comment. Would be bizarre to step down to PSG and humiliating for him accepting he's second best to Pep especially in the Prem.

I would have thought he would have been plotting how to take United to the next level were they can compete with City over the rest of this season and next.

Very poor from him if he walks away before the objectives have been achieved (don't think he's ever done that before)

Hardly a step down to the beat team in France and one of the favourites for CL over the sixth best team in England.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are we currently the sixth best team in England then?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes. That's what I said.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So we sit sixth in the table?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No. Where did I say that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Currently (as in at this point in time) we are not sixth in the table, so not the sixth best team in England as it stands. However if you would have said "last season" in your original comment, that would have been accurate. Glad I could help.

Has everybody played the same fixtures as you? I think not. If everybody had then you could judge this point in time whether you're better. You're the sixth best team with the easiest fixtures so far and therefore you're second. I think you'll find yourselves in sixth when everybody has played the same fixtures.

Glad I could help.

Have spurs had harder fixtures than us so far?

TOOR said Everton would give us a run for our money. He knows nothing about football.

I know. But it's fun watching him get himself in a muddle

Eric said Man Utd would win the league in September. He knows nothing about football.

He said City I believe.

He does every year, so that at the end he can say "well, I said you'd win it anyway" if we do.

Eric's a little spoilt runt. He was happy Moyes was appointed ahead of José as José didn't fit the club's ethos and style of play. Then he wanted Moyes out after 5 months. Then he started swinging off LVG's nuts until he got bored of him too. Now José is finally at the club, it hasn't taken much for little Eric to start throwing around names of replacement managers just because Utd lost at the weekend.

City already had a better team than we did, finished 3 places higher, spent more money than us and most people would agree they have a better manager too.

So please can somebody tell me how exactly we SHOULD be higher than 2nd. If anything we're a bit further away from City points wise than we'd like to be but we're still 2nd. It's probably about right.

I wasn't happy at all with moyes and wanted Jose way back then. And I don't even want him sacked now either. I wouldn't cry if he walked away but by no means should we be sacking him.

But keep making stuff up to suit your agenda.

Love it how we're being lectured by fans of 2 of the 3 biggest plastic clubs in the world

You are only what your owner has allowed you to be. All hollow success handed on a silver platter.

20 times !!!

You're a fan, you're the exact same!

You weren't sat in the boardroom making the decision about whether to become a plc or not, or helped to negotiate the deal with Chevrolet, you are exactly what the people running your club has allowed you to be too. You do seem to have this bizarre notion of somehow being more self deserving than others

At the end of last season, did you go to a local trophy shop and get a couple of replica trophies engraved with your name on it and do a victory parade around your local greggs with your full kit on?

Go on Meltdown Melton!

Melton doesn't like it when I point out his club are only where they are because of Arab money.

He then tries to say that it's same as what United did in the 90's which is total Ballacks and he knows it.

Utd make more money than every club in England for god knows how long yet you can still outspend us......work that one out.

posted on 7/11/17

No, I just don't like you talking about it like you personally are responsible for any of your clubs actions or successes, particularly as you show every single time you don't know anything about either club aside from what you read in the tabloids.

I've never once equated the two as the same btw. You just don't actually read or take in anything that's ever said.

We didn't outspend you btw, as in the context you are using there, we made 100m in revenue from sales so our net was lower than yours.

You do make one good point though, you made the most money for ages and didn't win anything, shows there's more to it than just Mansour then doesn't it...?

I think Marco Silva at Watford is a real deal. I would love to see what he can do at a big club given proper backing. Don't forget Poch was in his shoes couple of years back with Southampton......

Hahaha.

I really hope you're not a lawyer, otherwise, your clients must spend a lot of time behind bars afterwards.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How so? You're another who thinks that a live league table where everybody has played different fixtures is an accurate judge of where you are at this point in time? Having had a well documented easy start and stacking up high wins, racing to the top and the media and some of your fans giving you the title, then dropping and coming back down to earth with a crash when you began to play some of the more difficult fixtures, surely you would understand? Surely? Perhaps not.

Not to worry. As you start dropping down the table towards sixth, as the season goes on and you play similar fixtures to everybody else, you'll begin to understand. It's perhaps too soon for you.

I do get the point to an extent, in that the saying "the table never lies" - actually, it always does until the s a son has finished.

The point that you'd be in sixth I don't really get though.

He seems to be basing it off last season, which is even more silly that basing it off the current table.

posted on 8/11/17

I'm basing it off this season. I think you're the sixth best team this season, who are in second as you had an easy run of fixtures which put you on a run building confidence. You then came down with a bang when you played a few more difficult games and confidence has dropped back to normal. You'll now begin to slide down to closer to your standard, which in my opinion is sixth.

It's really not that difficult to understand.

The league table is not an accurate judge until everybody has played the same fixtures, ie. After 38 games. I don't see what you fail to understand here or people's people don't what to understand due to your false position being a sought after one whereas our false position isn't.
