As someone who has done extensive research and clearly buys into the project, what would your estimates be at its price in say 1, 5, 10 years? Or its potential at least?

I'm certainly not an expert forecaster or particularly qualified to make price predictions so make of it what you will and please make your own mind up - don't hold it against me if I'm wrong. I'm sure it goes without saying that in such a volatile marketplace even the forecasts of experts can be left in tatters too.
So back when Bitcoin was at around $20,000 it was commonly agreed that if ADA had the same market capitalisation at the time it would have been sitting at around $12.
I think it's going to be a while still until it gets there (and for the skeptic - if ever) but since I'm a big believer in the project I predict with an optimistic outlook - that we will. We should also consider that when it does the market will almost certainly have grown substantially too and will continue to, so if it can overtake bitcoin's market cap there's no reason why the value couldn't go far higher either.
Conservative Prediction:
1 year - $0.50
5 year - $5
10 year - $10
Realistic (if you believe in the project!):
1 year - $1
5 year - $10
10 year - $20
Optimistic (belief + strong market performance):
1 year - $2
5 year - $20
10 year - $40-$50

Appreciate the reply. After BTC and ETH, ADA is my other long term hold. It’s reassuring to hear your views on it. So why hasn’t it been listed on Coinbase yet? Is this a decision from Cardano or Coinbase?

Sorry for the delay.
So, it's a little unclear as to the exact reasons why ADA is not currently exchangeable on Coinbase.
There have been some rumours floating around in the past that Coinbase won't list it until it meets certain metrics/thresholds with regards to things like decentralisation. One of these is Cardano's 'D Parameter' - when D=0 for Cardano then 100% of the blocks are being produced by Community Nodes and it's growing closer to that everyday.
However, I'm pretty sure that in reality it's already far more decentralised than some other coins they have listed and has been for a while so I tend to believe that the hold-up is a non-disclosure agreement between Cardano & Coinbase. If you consider the scientific/peer review approach and rigorous testing Cardano have done at every stage of their development and the fact that they have agreements in place for cold-staking of ADA on Coinbase: https://www.coindesk.com/coinbase-custody-to-allow-secure-cardano-staking-later-this-year my suspicion is that Cardano want to make sure they are truly ready to launch this to a global market without any hiccups and they have been doing industrial-scale testing to iron out any issues.
The other consideration to make is that they may want to onboard some large business/LEDCs into the ecosystem before the price surges after listing on Coinbase.
Considering the staking agreements in place with Coinbase already, it's surely just a matter of months (or at worst late 2021) before trading ADA on Coinbase commences.

Well I was hoping someone might, someone who is better at predicting daily fluctuations/trends than me, my day trading so far has mainly been intuition and experience, still need to do a lot of learning on the technical aspects - does anyone have a good source for this type of learning? I can get hold of just about any e-book for free so any recommended e-books or information on trading would be welcome.

Good question, unfortunately I really don't know. From what I can remember when other coins have been listed in the past there has been some forewarning hasn't there? Given that and given that Charles/Cardano seem to like to announce major upcoming events in advance I assume we would get at the absolute least a week's notice - but who knows.

I’ve invested in some anyway. Seems very likely that the price will rise when Coinbase lists it so why not?
Looks like Bitcoin set to rally today, could well be we see back to the previous highs this week
Needs to take out 37000 convincingly first though

TA is a load of old bolloox imho, in crypto at least. There are some human nature patterns to spot, but crypto is just too unregulated to have the stability to create patterns that TA would work well with.
TA has worked pretty well for me so far although right now it’s fair to say it can be taken with a pinch of salt. In the current market it’s more down to psychology if anything
Just noticed a lot of my alts are blowing up again which is hopefully a good sign that bitcoin will follow
I’m kind of hoping Bitcoin has a breather for a bit and builds up a bit of resistance while the alts have a go at it
