why are the media mean to my club
Spurs fans are obsessed with the perceived power shift, clearly the years of st tiny tots day have taken their toll
City will never be as big a club as Utd so it’s not really relevant in Manchester but I think it’s a bit irksome for supporters of the worlds biggest club to have to settle for 2nd best in the City
Why before the Manchester derby isn't there any talk of a power shift? Why isn't sky tv build up all about a power shift?
I can't remember any of the pundits talk about the power shift in Manchester which has been in full effect for the last 5-6 years. There you have City who have passed united and comfortable the best team in Manchester and have backed this up with trophies. Don't get me wrong they have a long way to go to match united trophy cabinet but if the pundits are going to talk about a power shift, then why don't they refer to Manchester?
.....
We actually won a lot more trophies than Man City have since Sheikh Mansour bought the club and finished above them more times.
United are of the biggest team in the world. No dispute but City are doing all right things currently and like I said, backed it up with big trophies
Man Utd also won more trophies than Chelsea since Abramovich took over.
Talking about the last 5-6 seasons.

Coming from a Manc ABUs
Had City won major titles recently then you'd have to say the power shift may have swayed over to the blue side. But they haven't.Their last PL title was in 2014,ours a season earlier.
They've comfortably finished above us in recents times though, that cannot be argued and they've produced some good football in the process. But trophy wise not a great deal has happened with them or us.
In the last 3 seasons Man City 1 league cup.
In the last 3 seasons Man Utd 1 league cup 1 fa cup and 1 Europa League.
Also Man City haven't scored more goals against us in any of the last 3 seasons overall h2h. Last season 3 games they edged league but overall same aggregate and results over 3 games.
They didn't comfortably finish above us, we should have finished above them in 2014/15 and 2015/16 season.
Skip back just over a decade or so ago and all we were hearing from Arsenal fans was talk of a power shift from Manchester to N London, remember that??
Anyway what happened with that?
Spurs have had little to cheer about in the last 20 years so the media have to hype everything they do. Plus they have many England regulars which probably helps.
What an incredible load of nonsense this article is.
Tbh, I think the term 'Powershift' has been mentioned in every Manchester Derby that City have won since 2007.
Suprised why so many united fans are annoyed about the article!
City have surpassed everyone, including us. As they are your local rivals it is only fair to say that a power shift is in process in Manchester.
They play the best football, have better pulling power in terms of players and have a much better chance of winning the major trophies then united.
I'm not saying they are a bigger club
Honestly the only time I ever hear of power shift is during the north London derby. We had to hear about even when Rednapp was in charge
There is obviously an agenda against arsenal. What's comforting is that most sensible fans I talk to, the non vocal majority, realise this.
There was no "years without a trophy" count for any other team before or since we won a trophy. I remember the count starting at 4 years for us. We were derided for being happy to get top four but now when spurs do it apparently they have had a brilliant season. When we win a trophy it's "only the fa cup" despite us having to beat the champions in the final, and city in the semi
Castor Troy this defeatist mentality Honestly Pogba got it spot on.

We all know 8 point leads can be taken away. It happened with SAF, we were 2 points behind a few games later 8 points ahead then a few games later behind on goal difference in 11/12 season.
I agree. Look at Liverpool. When did they last win a trophy but it's never highlighted
