What a opportunity for one of the newbies to make a name for themselves
Gotta say that did look like it was going down leg for sure.
even the tms commentators are questioning that call. the people running hawkeye are cheating.. how the hell was the ball turning back towards the stumps from that angle..
duncan come on i would be honest if that call was wrong.. And it was.. It was never coming back from that angle.,
Gotta say you're wrong for sure.

"It was never coming back from that angle.,"
Have you seen how much it's turning at the moment?
"Marsh ws plub LBW"

"unknown reason it was going over.."
The laws of physics.
Ha yeah it turned form a line going leg and it turned back towards the stumps.. it was like wooshhhh wait for it balll tacking comes and look its gone backwards.
What are you gibbering about?
This is test match cricket at its best. Every so often you get a run chase like thiis. You know deep down that the aussies have probably got this, and yet there still that hope that someone might step up and pull off a Lara-esque innings.

Hawkeye is meant to track the current line of the ball when it makes contact, not make an assumption based on how much the pitch is turning. For example, if it hits a batsmen on the full, both Hawkeye and the umpire have to assume the ball is going to continue its current trajectory.
That ball was going down leg and Hawkeye has predicted it would turn into the stumps. That is not what it is supposed to do.
You're an absolute idiot if you think that's what happened.
It extrapolates from when it hits the batsman AFTER it had already turned off the pitch.
Root needs to deliver here.

With the threat of Lyon, England are going to have to look to score off the seamers which will be hard under the lights if Hazlewood, Starc and Cummins can bowl as well as Anderson and Woakes did last night.
Oh James Vince, when will you ever F'ING learn!?
Root survives, and another decision is overturned.
They're just reviewing now because they don't trust the umpire to get it right. Don't blame them in all honesty.
