You didn't go around singing about doing what you want before Ferguson. Kind of piessed a lot of people off. Also all those years of economic dominance before the Russian arrived and upset the apple cart.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're naive if you don't think everyone will start hating City if you have any kind of dominance like we did. Nobody likes winners in this country. Something in our makeup as a nation that we like to try and take them down a peg or two.
City thus far have win titles and trophies but not really dominanted the league. In fact you haven't once looked close to back to back titles but that could change under Pep of course.
We've made one of our best ever starts to a season. City just been freakishly good. One of those things.
If we jump from 6th to 2nd in one season it would still be a positive year. Just have to tip your hat to City if they do win it which we are all expecting they will.
Jose stays for me if we get top 4 no matter and is backed one last time for season 3 which I suspect will be his last with us.

LETS DEBATE look t my previous comment. We could be seeing a team that RAISES the bear in Premier league FOLKLORE.

The Prem as a brand cannot have a one team title race, with it being over in December. Hopefully we get the assistance we deserve from the Prem to beat Watford and Arsenal. The rest of the league will be willing us on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As Utd are universally and quite rightly loathed I don’t think there will be too many willing them on
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite rightly? Please explain why other than our success.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How long have you got?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Theres only one real reason and that's because we are the record winners and have dominated for so long. We weren't universally hated before Fergie.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s it really. Unless you’re Liverpool or city, who hate united for obvious reasons. A lot of neutrals have a dislike for united because they have grown up with united always winning, so they root for what they perceive is the underdog based on the history they are familiar with.
Same reason so many people have grown to have a dislike of Barca tbh.

They look fantastic, a serious team that could make history here in the uk and certainly in Europe. Maybe the world

Utd were loathed pre-Fergie.
I grew up in the 80’s surrounded by people who hated them and they hadn’t done much for 15 or so years.
Nobody is going to be willing them on to challenge City other than Utd fans.

We have sponsors as we are run how a football club should be. Self-generating revenue through commercial activities and success on the pitch.
We didn't win the Arab owner lottery.
Pipe down you plastic bitter bèlll end.
I disagree that all neutral fans hate united. You get alot that do, but you also get alot of lower league fans who support united as their 2nd team. Same with liverpool, probably happening with city and chelsea aswel now.

Stop saying these things. They don't like hearing the truth.
We need 6 points to be in a good position in the rat race for top 4.
We've earned a considerable amount more tha. You from on the pitch for five years though. We're following exactly how you did it, with the only difference being it's one persons money rather than a lot of shareholders money.
On the OP, if you take us out of the equation, then your points tally is very good so far. It is still entirely possible for you (or Chelsea) to go on a run that we just did, and it's equally possible for us to go on a run that gets less points than you have so far. All it takes is for one of the top three to drop out of Europe and another to get a few injuries and the picture can change dramatically.
It's still November, I think people should still take it week by week at this stage rather than worry about something still six months in the future.
We didn't win the Arab owner lottery.

Less so for a title challenge, which looks out of the question, but if we can get 6 points this week Top 4 would seem settled unless we have some major feck ups.
At least 4 pts required from your next 2 games and i think that's what you will get, probably not the way many would think though, draw at Watford and a win at Arsenal.
Two defeats is also a possibility which could see you in 5th position by Sunday evening.
I would expect us to win both our home games this week which would put a huge must must win in the derby for United.
