It's absolutely disgusting, it really is. The time, the day, the prices.
And you can do absolutely nothing except express your rage on a message board.
One very disappointed 14 year old.
Manchester United you deserve all,the vitrolic coming your way.
Why the hell is it on a Friday and not a Sunday? Those prices are a joke tbf.
I hope our Chairman expresses his disappointment at this. Not that it will help at all. I hope we boycott the fixture. You've got to be a fool to attend this one.
What do United gain from having the game on a Friday night if it isn’t being televised and many fans will struggle to make the game?
Why do we only get 5000 tickets too?

Just in case there may be some confusion, Viewfrom is not that unhappy 14 yr old.
But without doubt we were all convinced it would be 3 pm on the Sunday with City playing on Saturday but Friday night, not on the telly and at those prices just after Xmas is a disgrace.
Man Utd, taking the pi$$ out of the oldest cup competition since they disssed it by sending out a reserve side in it, to go play the other side of the world in a meaningless world club comp.
They must be hoping that the tickets will be bought as Christmas presents. My text is pinging like mad. No one is going.
ManU you can FECK OFF!!
They have to make up the shortfall in no tv money for the first time since the great lady thatcher was pm
What will Derby fans be charged at Hillsborough by the way? Or Elland Road? Or Villa Park? Just want to be sure that the price to go to this match is unfair.
You know United have no say over the time, day or date of the fixture, don’t you you angry little rodent?
Those rates are consistent with what United fans pay to go. I don’t see why away fans should get a cheaper ride than loyal season ticket holders...

City charged wolves fans £10 adults & £1 kids in the last round of the league cup
FA Cup tickets have always been cheaper . It’s part and parcel of the cup.
Disgrace of a club.

Not cheaper than that they haven’t. I was a United season ticket holder until last season and every FA Cup/European fixture was £40-50.
Yous needed to to fill the stadium. Not relevant to my question though? Why should United be charging low prices to Derby fans, whilst it's okay for Wednesday, Villa,Leeds etc to charge high prices. It just seems this guy is shouting out for the sake of it without a genuinelt valid point

I’m an intermittent match threader, yes. But I had a season ticket for many years so I know how much United fans pay.
My lad went to ManU v Burton in the Carabao Cup. As an 18 year old it cost him £10. Adult price was £36.00
This game would cost him £35.75 and me £45
What have you got to say about that then?

Do you actually go to OT? Maybe not
I’d say it’s consistent with what United season ticket holders themselves would be paying. Forgive me for not caring but I’ve been ripped off as an away fan many times. Nobody is forcing you to go.

Of course I go to Old Trafford. Not as much as when I had my season ticket, but I have other priorities now.
Supply and demand I'm afraid. People will pay it even if you can't / won't. Put the money you would have spent going to the match in a SIPP for your kids and by the time they retire they'll be minted. Then they can go to Old Trafford.
So why is it ok to charge Derby fans more than Burton fans?
