Significantly.
Matip has been injured most of the second half of the season so the alternative would be Klavan. I like Klavan but I severely doubt we'd have made the CL final and secured 4th with him at CB and that's significant which ever way you slice it.

I think that you assign far too much value to a football discussion forum. I don't need to do anything, I'm free to express my opinion and should a persuasive and well reasoned argument cause me change my view then I would do so. Unfortunately, with your limited reasoning, you've been unable to do that, and inexplicably it seems to cause you endless aggravation. I, on the other hand, am not especially invested to any great extent regarding whether you agree with me or not, so it doesn't eeally cause me any great concern.

Your suggestion that I have 'lost the argument' is not the case, as my points remain valid. Regarding Allison, I really couldn't say I have seen enough to make a solid judgement. I saw him at the world cup and he seemed solid but unspectacular, and I saw him looking fairly unremarkable in the champions league, and he missed the chance to impress versus liverpool. Essentially, I haven't yet seen him do anything especially impressive, but I'll wait to pass judgement and hopefully he will do well.

My stance is the same. 'Not yet' means that as of this moment, I don't believe that it is the case. Furthermore, by using 'Not yet' it is demonstrating my openness for the possibility for him to have a such an impact, however within the context of the article, I don't believe he will.

Your suggestion that I have 'lost the argument' is not the case, as my points remain valid. Regarding Allison, I really couldn't say I have seen enough to make a solid judgement. I saw him at the world cup and he seemed solid but unspectacular, and I saw him looking fairly unremarkable in the champions league, and he missed the chance to impress versus liverpool. Essentially, I haven't yet seen him do anything especially impressive, but I'll wait to pass judgement and hopefully he will do well.

Significantly.
Matip has been injured most of the second half of the season so the alternative would be Klavan. I like Klavan but I severely doubt we'd have made the CL final and secured 4th with him at CB and that's significant which ever way you slice it.
