Ok, seems I have to explain it to you. Typical

Previous comment of mine was pointing to your refusal to take on any evidence to change your stance, ie you were standing by your dogma.

I referred to you as the Al Qaeda of 606.

The leader of whom was Osama bin Ladin - who came a cropper, just as your have on this thread.

Sin = Spanish for “without”

It was multi-levelled, beyond your intellectual remit. But at least you can be better informed now.

VVD - significantly improved us

Your comment falls short because your references are either inaccurate or irrelevant, and your wafer-thin argument is undermined. If you lack intellectual dexterity and you are going to step out of your comfort zone, at least try and do some of the basic preparation, otherwise you will appear to be of poor quality as a poster.

Van Dijk wins everything in the air again & again & again, someone let the Spurs officials knew that if they need to get Kane back he’s here.

Poor point mate, not well thought through.

Wafers can be pretty thick.

It’s all relative, I'm satisfied that the commonly used phrase 'wafer-thin' is generally used to emphasise that something is thin. You are welcome to use the phrase 'wafer thick' to describe your intellectual capacity, Im sure people will agree with you.

Brainless has been banging on for ages about VVD hasn't been tested yet.

Well he came up against supposedly one of the the best strikers in the world yesterday and had him in his pocket all game.

Let me guess Brainless's latest excuse, Spurs are shiitt and Kane is overrated?

I can only respond to what's written. If people choose to insult me and ignore good football debate, I'm quite entitled to defend myself.

Unfortunately you're also entitled to share BS. But fortunately for you, we can forgive your ignorance and we can invite you to jump on the VVD bandwagon.

All it takes for you to do Brainless is to admit you were wrong and change the original article to say so and we will stop visiting

Until you do that, we will be on here regularly. VVD gets better every week and it gets more embarrassing for you.

Let’s look at a point from the original article then?

He is probably £25 - £35 million overpriced, and while I personally don't care about that (if a club doesn't endanger themselves financially, they can spend what they like), he may find that the perceived pressure affects his game.

Couple of points from Brainless’s point.

1) Has the price tag troubled or pressured him?

The answer is not a bit, he’s cemented his position as the best CB in the league.

2) He was £25m - £35m overpriced.

My question is what would he cost now if someone wanted him now? £125m.🤷🏼‍♂️

I believe he was overpriced, as have been a number of players over the last year - he is not alone. Assessments of value are subjective and based on a number of factors. Of course you can make the rather turgid and oft repeated point that a player is worth what another club is prepared to pay, but that isn't really true. A player costs what another club is prepared to pay, while not necessarily being worth that.
