31 attempts 8 on target. Can’t put the complete blame on Poch, but no doubt you have done, as usual.

Most of the attempts were useless. Poch haint getting of that lightly. It was obvious at half-time, something else was needed to break down West Ham`s packed defence. And he did absolutely nothing, and just hoped something would happen.

Blame is fully and squarly on the manager on this one.

It's up to Poch to select the correct team and set up against whoever we're playing but to also be able to change things if necessary. Still a learning curve for him in that respect.

As a neutral watching that I would be gutted if it was my team, results like that happen, another night it might have been 3 or 4 to be fair for Spurs, only an absolute worldly goal from them, great defensive application aside

they should have been 0-2 that obiang missed a sitter with a poor header. And even though he won the ball that was reckless out of control dangerous tackle from aurier i think it was before Son scored. Thats peoples biggest problem with refs in this country consistency they consistently say this is a foul then we see exact same foul and they play on, we see a pen not given then exact same another game given don't even follow their own rules.

People are forgetting that we're playing at a different home venue this season. That was Poch's gravy last season with a sublime home record. I think criticism of him should automatically be cut to a minimum when dealing with disappointing home results/performances personally.

Any other manager and his team would be affected by such a change.

---------------------------------------------------------------------- I think Kane should take some of the blame is well, 2 great chances by him completely wasted. But no, all down to the manager of course.

This

Frustrating tonight but it happens. It’s not 1961 anymore Sandy, you can’t beat everyone 7-2

I actually blame Mike Dean more than anybody, yet again he was poor and got several decisions wrong that went against us.

Poch also has to take some blame, by selecting that useless carthorse Sissoko and waiting too long to make changes.

I have been patient with Sissoko, but tonight just confirms to me he will never be good enough, he needs replacing with somebody better.

It was a bad performance overall. Not terrible but not good at all.

Not sure why everyone is upset Sandy attributes some blame to the manager for this.

I don't think it's down to Poch. It's about recruitment. We seem to be allergic to buying players that like to dribble. The only one tonight that looked like he could carve something out was Son, who happens to be our best at going at players. That's why City can do what they do because they're not afraid to take players on. Sideways passing gets us nowhere in a fixture like this. I'm hoping that Poch gives Edwards a chance on Sunday as although his attitude has been called into question, he's the kind of player we need at times like this. We need to do some serious work in the transfer window otherwise.

On a side note, I do love Poch but what on earth is he seeing in Sissoko. Lamela and Dembele on the bench, neither of whom needed resting. WTF is going on there?!!!!

Need more pace up front to stretch a packed defence, and no need to play two holding midfielders when West Ham were always gonna sit deep and play safe.

No point playing hundreds of no-pressure passes 30 yards out with 10 opposition players in the box, you'll never get through. Need more width, more directness and more pace to pull apart a tight defence like that.

Spurs could use a couple of quicker, more unpredictable flair players for matches like that.

Team selection - did we need 2 holding midfielders today? Were Sissokos physical attributes really required?

Substitutions - very late in the game.

Nothing to do with Wembley, all to do with the opposition. Spurs have blown away teams that are of our equal or better at Wembley in the league and CL. Yet any team that has set up with 10 men behind the ball, have walked away with a point.

It`s all down to tactics. Not rocket science, not the pitch, not Wembley. Poch just doesn`t seem clued up in these sort of games.

Why does he leave his subs so late?

Wish we had someone like Mahrez or Zaha instead of Sissoko. Sissoko is one of the worst players that plays for the top 6 teams.

Agreed - subs needed to be made earlier. A player needs 5-10mins to get to speed with the game. Leaving it til 70-75 mins if ridiculous

So tell me why our record was so good at home last season then compared to here at Wembley?

Mahrez would actually be very good in this Spurs team. Doubt you'd pay the money we want however.

Need to be beating dross like Westham at home, we tonked them away.
