We do not look silly in any way, shape or form. It's not as if he sulked for the first half of the season. He played brilliantly with a smile on his face and helped get us through to the CL knockout rounds as well as a decent position in the league. Now he will leave, we will get a lot of money with which we will buy a replacement and we continue.

Says what all? that he wants to leave for barca? we knew that anyway, its not like hes abandoning a sinking ship or anything, we have strengthened this window and may do so more now..

Your post makes 0 sense, unless you honestly believe we all thought he wanted to be here? and we hardly look silly, we have a huge transfer fee for a great player, but hardly one as integral as suarez, bale or ronaldo were to their relevant teams.

just to emphasize im not saying he isnt a good player, im saying, we wont miss him like we did suarez, because we still have mane firmino and salah.

lallana while not of quite the same quality is a great player to have able to step in, sort of like when we replaced suarez with firmino.

Wish him all the best and he will get a warm welcome if he comes back with Barca, he really wants the move but a pity we couldn't keep him till the summer.

I've read Klopp was OK to sign off on the transfer but no quotes.

We all knew Coutinho was leaving.. not one person will deny it. It just wasn't going to be the summer window like SE85!was insisting over several weeks.

A few of us, including me thought it was possible he could go in January.

If he's going now there's a plan in place for replacement.

Trust Klopp to get the big money signings right

For sure.

You do look silly. He's not staying put to finish your season off. His leaving could easily cost you cl football depending on how quickly any possible replacement settles. Not everyone hits the ground running like Salah did.
