wtf are people going on about? Replacing Wenger, probably the worst performing manager in the PL in terms of squad cost vs points, won't change anything? Clueless.

Yep, but not really related to anything I said.

We've spent enough to compete we just wasted it on dross, half of this squad should have been sold year ago or never been signed.

What is this about lack of investment?

We’ve spent ridiculous money over the last 4 years

posted on 14/1/18

We’ve spent a hell of a lot more than Spurs and even though they are trophy dodgers they are a hell of a lot better than we are

Teams stays the same or do you expect the new manage can invest into a new whole team

I hate our stupid fking owners but they have given money to Wenger to spend. Most of it he hasn’t spent right. You can almost name his good signings this decade on one hand.

Kos, Alexis, Ozil, Cazorla, who else??? Giroud I suppose.

No GT forget the net spend and look at what he actually spent the money on

£55M club record signing Lacazette who probably cries himself to sleep every night over Atleti’s transfer ban

This guy should be scoring 30 goals a season for what we spent and Wenger hasn’t a clue how to get those goals out of him. Is that really the board’s fault?

How can you still make excuses for Wenger?

posted on 14/1/18

Lol at everyone getting wound up by GT. He's not even an Arsenal fan.

He doesnt score because he got absolute no help at all. We leave him isolated just we did with Giroud who is a complete different approach to him.

Why is that? We can't put any pressure on any team because we lack quality players from the wide areas who can cross or pass properly. Not from the right and not from left wide areas. Why he left Kolasinac out for some games I will never know. We lack competition in all positions. Players like Bellerin and Koscielny knowing if they dont get injured they will play. These are only two examples.

I am through and through and not against Wenger to go now.

If you sack Wenger than sack the whole bunch of useless cuuuuuuuunts. Otherwise nothing will change soon.

But they have an identity. They are making strides forward and have a well-balanced team with a solid structure and good style of play.

All of which has happened because they got a proper manager in.

Spurs may not win trophies, but they entertain their fans, have got some top players and are a far more competitive outfit than we are.

If you're honestly content with seasons like last year GT simply because we won the FA Cup (which, let's face it, doesn't really have the same value it used to), then I don't know what to say to you.

Any team can have a decent cup run. Our shortcomings in Europe and in the league will still be staring us right in the face though.

Lacazette- £53M
Kolasinac free
Mustafi £35M
Xhaka - £35M
Holding £2.5M
Asano £5M
Lucas £17M
Elneny £6M
Cech £10M
Debuchy £12M
Chambers £16M
Welbeck £16M
Alexis £35M
Gabriel £11M
Ospina £3M
Sanogo free
Flamini free
Ozil £42.5M

Those are our signings since 2013

Apart from the obvious 2, those signings are scarily bad.

posted on 14/1/18

Our signings are so bad actually that even with the inflation in the transfer market since signing these guys we would probably sell all of them at a loss apart from Holding and Kolasinac

Kinda agree with GT on Lacazette though. Laca looks decent when both Ozil & Sanchez are alongside him. He ain't a miracle worker who can conjure up goals with Iwobile and Welcack alongside him. I haven't given up on him. Still think we should get him to play alongside Giroud.

We get nothing from our midfield. We miss Santi so much its scary. It's all on Sanchez or Ozil to create something or nothing. Wilshere is going his best but he's spending his time covering up for Xhaka.

No I’m not criticising or giving up on Lacazette

My point is our manager spent £53M on a goal machine that he can’t get a shot out of never mind a goal. He hasn’t a clue how to use him.

I’ve no doubt that a top manager would get goals out of him

Don't quite this debate.

Wenger buys players so if they are bad its his fault.

Wenger coaches the team so if tactics are a problem its his fault.

I don't see how you can deflect blame on anyone else.

I saw also entertaining games from Arsenal this season just not with the right result which was up to ourselve and also up to bad ref decisions.

So far Spurs have only one season probably this season as well where they are ahead of us and can reach top 4. Top 4 is nothing according to our fan basis and not good enough. You dont get nothing for playing entertaining football and at the moment Spurs dont even play that.

We have easily spent the least in the top 6. I took a picture of mnf when they were talking about mourinho saying he needed more money. When it comes to net, spurs and us have a fairly similar figure, spurs obviously helped by ridiculous fees for walker and bale.

We have nowhere near the same amont of big money players as our rivals. Spurs almost spent the same money we spent on sanchez on Sissoko ffs
