The trouble when you post joking remarks doesn't necessarily mean that others will see how you meant it. Sometimes I've made remarks which were supposed to be a joke and they have been taken the wrong way.

Maybe Heb has taken some posts the wrong way, I hope I haven't offended him and most of us know 666 is a wind up merchant who has a heart of gold.

Bleeding hell, this is news to me. I have never taken anything of what has been written recently as anything other than harmless stuff and nonsense, and I am really surprised anyone views it differently. Please let common sense prevail. I try to tailor my own insults to those who I believe either don't care or who give back in like kind. I never mean any offense so would be mortified if I really thought anyone would be offended. Well, apart from towards 666 obviously. It's all meant personally in that direction and I hope it wounds. I'm sure others feel the same, in general and about 666.

In which spirit I hereby promise that if we get promoted, in addition to buying the first round at our ja606 party, the potential cost of which happily appears to be plummeting daily, I am going to kiss Spart. He may protest, and it may take several of you to hold him down, but kiss him I will. It's how Brian sorted out disagreements and if it's good enough for him it's good enough for me. Kiss it better.

No, it is still practised Spart. The recommended ratio of chest compressions to rescue breaths changes periodically but it's still done. Don't want to deprive the brain of oxygen and cause irreversible damage to that very important organ, although I quite understand your implication that such a thing might be unnecessary in your own case.

No, it doesn't annoy me at all... it annoys Spart, which is why you'll often see it used whenever he is present on a thread as he has mentioned it a few times in the past so it is now lavishly employed whenever he pitches up.
