Chris Martin deal agreed to Sunderland and George signs a new contract till 2020.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can't understand why he would go to the Mackems when he was homesick at Fulham. He would be better at Burton.
Sunderland are in a false position of sorts... and by that I mean that whilst they fully deserve to be where they are based on performances to date, I think the have enough quality in that squad to easily pull away under Coleman's guidance, and I sincerely hope #CM9 galvanises them into doing so.
Burton are gash and the sooner they go back where they and their ground belong, the better.
Funny stuff lads
That's the way to get the Hebster back, make it the sort of place he wants to inhabit
Apparently Sunderland still need to convince CM to move although DCFC have agreed a loan in principle

Another big game. Another result to smash or churn out. Nugent will start tonight and that will be the only change from Birmingham in my opinion. Get the job done tonight and bang the pressure on the pretenders tmoro.
GT confirmed on Insta so has to be right.

Anything about JR7 yet ?
Hopefully George has a clause requiring him to maintain current levels of gorgeousness until his contract expires. OK, he might be no Spart, but he's the next best thing.
Both him and TL have agreed to look up in the final third according to Snapchat.
Johnny Russell not Spart just to confirm
Don’t think Martin is confirmed yet. Norwich showing interest. He’s going but as to where well we’ll have to see. If he’s on the bench tonight i’ll be gobsmacked.

Shares in Bupa have just risen
Glad about George. Not sure why JR is holding out. He gets plenty of game time here. Does he think he can do better elsewhere? Or maybe the money is no good..
Not just shares in BUPA, Sheepy, at the thought of more Gorgeous years..
On which subject, I'm going to tie a yellow sporran around my old "oak tree" where it will remain either until Heb returns or the weather gets a bit colder.
Bonniey Hebbie's noo awa
Safely oer the friendly main;
Mony a heart will break in twa,
Should he no come back again.
Will ye no come back again?
Will ye no come back again?
Better loed ye canna be;
Will ye no come back again?
Ye trusted in your Derby men,
They trusted you dear Hebbie!
They kent your hiding in the glen,
Death and exile braving.
English bribes were a in vain
Tho puir and puirer we mun be;
Siller canna buy the heart
That aye beats warm for thine an thee.
We watched thee in the gloamin hour;
We watched thee in the mornin grey;
Though thirty thousand pounds they gie,
Oh, there is nane that would betray!
Sweet's the laverock's note an lang,
Liltin wildly up the glen;
But aye to me he sings a sang,
"Will ye no come back again?"
I doubt the news that #CM9 is being shipped out has done much to lighten the mood at Hebquarters despite the welcome revelations around Gorgeous.
Hopefully a resounding thrashing of the Brizzle pretenders in the first half will see the unassuming PoTY unable to resist the lure of reveling in the halftime festivities on here and we can all put this sorry debacle behind us.

Are you watching the game tonight (tomorrow morning) ?
Very apt Vidal and some beautiful thoughts. We are missing you Heb. There was the gugas thing and now Vidal's musical appeal for Heb to come back. There was something poignant about a Derbyshire lad, very happy in his Alban homestead. Who was it that drove you away Heb? Are you even reading these friendly pleas?
