Captain Marvel
7.5/10
Dont get the criticism. Maybe people dont like a woman being that powerful. Samuel L Jackson was brilliant in it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No. People aren’t falling for guff like that. The fact that it’s a woman is irrelevant.
The film was simply lacklustre for many of us.

But how different is it to other Marvel character introductions. Thor, Captain America all had plot holes but never received same criticism.
Captain Marvel
6/10 and that's being generous, it was politically driven and the casting wasn't great, Jude Law annoyed me.
Only thing is that it sets up Endgame well, naturally
Hunter killer
7/10 decent.
Man Up
6/10
Not one of Simon Pegg's best
Journeyman (2017)
8/10
Really recommend

Doesn’t really make sense if Wonder Woman and Aliya were so well received.
The Butterfly Effect. 7/10. Decent but depressing as fack.

True. The sequels, not so much
Are people arguing about who is more powerful in the MCU? These scripts are written.
It's like people who take the WWE Champions seriously.
Most important fact is the most popular Marvel character ever is Spiderman, the amount of movies, cartoons, comics dedicated to him are clear. Even Stan Lee called Spiderman the Mickey Mouse of Marvel. Everyone knows who Spiderman is even if they've never read a comic or watched any cartoons or marvel movies.
In my opinion, Spiderman should've ALWAYS been the main Marvel Character, but now he's a kid who begs to be in the team.
Move the marvel chat over to the superhero thread now pls

All true (the most famous part) but would seem a bit daft for a kid that can sling webs to be the leader of a team consisting of actual gods.

Amazing, beautiful, terrifying fairytale. Loved it.
