Is la la land a musical? If it is, Fack that
Fighting with my Family - 8/10, recommend.
Watched it about 20 years ago and thought it was one of the best films I’d ever seen.
Watched it again last night and it remains so.
12 Angry Men (1957) 10/10
screamers 7.5/10
thought it was really good, special affects are dated quite a bit yes, cant believe I missed it for so many years
Bohemian Rhapsody - 6/10
Alright, nothing really revealing. Felt as if it rushed through key moments. Weirded out by the face of 'Freddie' for most of it - scarier than fellow Freddie, Kruegar.
Triple frontier > 6/10
A good heist film
First Man 7/10
A good depiction of Neil Armstrong’s personal life and of course his journey to the Moon.
Quite a dark film at times to be honset.
I also think Ryan Gosling plays the same part in most of his roles. Those long quiet stares were done to death again.
Happy Death Day 2U
5/10
Enjoyed the first one but this was awful.
Dead pool 2. 6/10 at best. Fat, far too self aware.
Arrival 4/10 - Unpopular opinion but I found it to be boring and depressing as hell.
Darkest Hour - 7.5 /10. Oldman is great as always.
Ye
Arrival wasn't all that.
Triple Frontier (Netflix) 6.5/10
Decent, although storyline already well done, good action scenes. Needed more focus on getting to know the characters as it didn’t really make you care what happened to most of them.

Much better than 4/10. At least 7 or 8.

Captain Marvel
7.5/10
Dont get the criticism. Maybe people dont like a woman being that powerful. Samuel L Jackson was brilliant in it.

Mike, I think you're a tad generous in your description. Maybe I've watched too many CinemaSins, but I found it SO detached from even a modicum of plausibility, even the characters were contradicting their own character, that I just groaned and sniggered my way through the second half.

Yeah it’s ridiculous tbh but found it a decent enough action film when wanting something off Netflix. Wasn’t expecting anything more, maybe 5.5/6 then.
