I personally disagree with VAR. Nothing to do with any of the popular arguments. Mine relates the fact the football should be universal and the same at all levels. Division 2 games won't get VAR at the same level as the PL and I believe bringing it in will create an even wider gap. Why should big games in the PL get VAR but not a relegation game in the lower tiers, which has possibly an even bigger impact on the teams involved.

Try telling that to the lower league fans.
Loserpool
Got outplayed for the most part and hoofed the ball and now crying wolf.
ffs, own a pair and admit you were second best to Spurs

I think quite the opposite. Today showed the value of good officiating. Was good to see them communicating and coming to the right decision
VAR should not be introduced and it will quickly become the death of the game!
Yep, VAR would have ruled out Salah`s second goal for offside
I thought Pool were quite ordinary, they just have a few sprinters that chase after balls hoofed up field and pressurize defenders. They can`t do that for 90 mins and if they don`t go 2 or 3 up then second half they tire and let the opposition take over.
Linesman celebrates giving the correct decision.
Nice that he has pride in his job.
Can't wait for VAR to come in and after this season I doubt any Liverpool fan disagrees. Its been a shocking season for us in terms of incorrect decisions.

Personally I think giving a goal which was offside is an incorrect decision. VAR would have easily sorted that.
Scousers , if Kane was off side , then so was Salah . Dier played a ball through to Salah in a offside position and loveren played Kane through in a offside position. Which is it scousers ? Either both wrong or both right you choose

Why was Salah off-side?
Also the commentators were arguing that Kane was off-side for the first penalty.
Here's the relevant section of the FA off-side rule:
To commit an off-side offence by being in an off-side position you have to "gain an advantage" by being in that position:
"A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball (except from a deliberate save by any opponent) is not considered to have gained an advantage."
In both cases the ball came off a defender.
Salah was offside in the lead up to his second goal, but that didnt get a second mention from the Scouse pundits, predictably.

Moving from one article to another to try and make your point. Wasn't offside no conclusive evidence to suggest otherwise.

Yeah they have to go with the rules rather than yeah but no but yeah but you got a goal from a completely different situation so we're allowed one.
I suppose this isn't offside either?

Three dives for penalties and you got two of them which funnily enough were offside before they even got to that stage.
