Scousers , if Kane was off side , then so was Salah . Dier played a ball through to Salah in a offside position and loveren played Kane through in a offside position. Which is it scousers ? Either both wrong or both right you choose
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah they have to go with the rules rather than yeah but no but yeah but you got a goal from a completely different situation so we're allowed one.

I suppose this isn't offside either?

Three dives for penalties and you got two of them which funnily enough were offside before they even got to that stage.

Love that picture. Doesn't show he is offside at all if you look closely.

How closely do I have to look? Like if I zoom in x10000?

You don’t really get it do you , Loveren played Kane onside by the action of choosing to play the ball , once he makes contact with the ball Kane , by all the rules in football becomes onside , if Loveren had just left it Kane would have been offside. Now is that clear enough for you

You don't get it, the Fa's own rules state that if the ball deflects off a player into the path of an offside player then it's offside. It's different if the player plays the ball to the opposition. Regardless of that, Kane then dives for a penalty and the keeper saves it.

It's the match changing decision which is more frustrating considering Lamela dives for a penalty from an offside position. If the assistant was doing his main role properly he wouldn't have to make a call which goes against the referee.

No it doesn’t , Loveren choose to play the ball , IT didn’t deflect off him , you choose to see the rules to suit you attempt at making a case against Kane

Can't wait for VAR to come in and after this season I doubt any Liverpool fan disagrees. Its been a shocking season for us in terms of incorrect decisions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Although none happened today
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally I think giving a goal which was offside is an incorrect decision. VAR would have easily sorted that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But the rules are that regardless if he’s offside in the first instance Lovren plays the ball and the second phase happens

VAR would have no choice but to give it also.

Yes, considering that the linesman celebrated giving the second penalty to Spurs, VAR needs to be introduced to prevent corruption and cheating.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
have a video of that?

VAR anyway you look at it both were penalties. The 2nd was a stone Waller. 1st was soft but there was contact.

I disagree. That decision doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things anyhow as Kane missed after the dive.

The second one was worse as it was a straight offside with no interpretation needed.

How are you even so bitter about the penalties ffs just be happy you got a point after being dominated the whole second half. It was the fair result.

First one was offside tbf, Lovren wouldn’t have touched the ball had he not been rushed by Kane like that.

Second is this ridiculous hopeful aerial shot in which a lot of assumptions have to be made in terms of the line drawn and when the ball was headed. Beyond desperate.

Why would I be happy when the official took two points away from us?

Yes a draw was a fair result but football isn't fair, we are the better team in nearly every game we play but we don't win all those games, you actually have to score more than the opposition to win. The officials nearly helped you achieve that, inst ad having to settle for giving you a point.

This second paragraph is exactly what I have been saying. No way can you say it was offside and I honestly don't think VAR would change that decision. Inconclusive picture atla poor angle. TOOR of course thinks it's offside.

Of course VAR would change it as from the still of when the ball was played you can see Lamela is offside, as per the photo.

The photo isn’t inconclusive it’s a terrible angle, from miles away in which you have no clue at what stage the ball left Llorentes head
