For me wilder just windmills and relays on his reach.
Someone lands on his chin and his sparrow legs will turn to jelly.
Ortiz did land a fair few times in the 7th and couldn't get him out of there. Wilder showed great heart/chin not going down.
Best description of Wilder I've read this weekend is "He's shıt but legit at the same time."
He'll never change his unorthodox style. As long as he as that power in his fists he'll have a chance but based on what we've seen so far of both fighters. You have to favour AJ. Malignaggi said yesterday Joshua had little head movement and Wilder cannot position himself correctly. Two of their weakness.

I watched the replay of the fight very closely this morning.
At the end of the 7th Wilder was maybe about 10-15 secs from being stopped.
If Ortiz had landed that little bit earlier in the rnd, Wilder would definitely have been out of there. He was in serious trouble. Shame Ortiz ran out of steam as he was great in there.
Credit to Wilder for coming back but he is very limited in terms of pure boxing skills & Ortiz schooled him for virtually the whole fight. He has an equalizer but if he gets caught he will go. I don't see him surviving a heavy assault from Joshua if AJ can land one like Ortiz did.
If it happens, the fight would be fascinating. Both fighters walking the proverbial tightrope. One slip up and it will be all over. Who would blink first?
Saying that, I don't readily dismiss Parker's chances against either of them. Then there's Fury.
Great times ahead.

How would Joshua get on vs Ortiz.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
AJ knocks him out late. Ortiz is crafty but he leaves himself too open.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think AJ finishes him around 5-6.

I really like Wilder though. Think he's a good guy, not faking who he is at all for the cameras.

Talks too much without having backed it up.

yeah ,he comes across as nod , saying hes the baddest man on the planet. Basically is a pub boxer who has a hard chin. Got battered the other night.

a pub boxer, ffs, I dnt like the guy but seriously? every time a fighter wins theres always something to bash him with, other than aj who else could have wilder beat that was more credible than Ortiz? the hw division is weak atm and that includes aj and wilder who are the best of a average bunch

So backs up my point. Was outboxed for 10 rounds the other day, and was arguably saved by the bell, if not we'd be looking at a different winner. Did not throw one combination the other day. AJ has atleast learnt to box and not just throw one of power shots.
I don't particularly mind him, but he overstates his ability. AJ would have him in 5 i'd wager.

being compared as average to a pub boxer(is that a pub bouncer?) is a bit different, being saved by the bell is irrelevant really, point is he survived came bk and won, when aj beats parker its the only fight that holds any interest in that division now
Talking comparatively to someone who trains at boxing every day, he is the equivalent of a pub boxer/bouncer. his lack of technique and combinations is worrying, as you say, he is one of the best heavyweights about atm.
Enjoyable to watch though, was the best heavyweight fight since klitchsko v aj

was not the point I made, I was saying for someone who trains every single day at boxing, his boxing ability is poor. He is what it says on the tin, bronze bomber.

well you say that but it looks like anyone can in the heavyweight division with fraudley, chisora and williams over the last decade.
heavyweight division is in a dire situation, something that you yourself mentioned earlier. Are you just arguing for the sake of it.
