Zhang very good but I think Joyce was overrated based on his Dubois and Parker wins.

Think that's it for Joe Joyce. Got flattened.

He might have a last hurrah fight against a journeyman to get cleanse the pallete before retirement, but that's his career done in terms of serious fighters and world title considerations imo.

Damn, beautiful shot by Zhang. Fck knows what happened to the Joyce that smashed Dubois and Parker to pieces.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Zhang carries more power than both and is an awkward southpaw.

Be good to see Zhang against AJ/Fury/Wilder/Usyk though as long as it’s not too far away.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They'll all avoid him even more now knowing what the HW division is like. At least Joyce took him on even if it's basically ended his career.

Zhang vs AJ in December?

Usyk would still beat Zhang though.

Can't see AJ or Wilder wanting to fight Zhang - they both want to beat each other for another shot at a world title.

Fury won't want the fight as Zhang isn't a big money spinner and he's too difficult to turn up to overweight and without properly training.

Usyk is potentially an option though.

Fury won’t go near him, doubt he takes another serious boxing fight on again now.

I think he'd do unification for a huge sum of money, but yeah - otherwise I think he is doing exhibitions versus UFC fighters and YouTubers.

I don't know why any fighter bothers calling Fury out when he'll run from them all. They may as well just call the WBC out to strip him of the belt.

AJ and Wilder seem to be ducking each other.

Frank Warren basically telling us that Fury vs Zhang isn't going to happen. No surprise there lol, more chance we get Fury vs Delboy 4.

Zhang is mandated to fight Usyk after Hrgovic isn't he?

These boards make up the rules as they go.

He might be Usyks mandatory but they might give Dubois the rematch next, if Fury keeps ducking.

Without any immediate fight for a world title on the horizon for him, it's hard to know who he'd fight or who would want to take the risk of fighting him. Not many top HWs would want it.

Even though many haven't been impressed by Hrgovic lately and thought he lost to Zhang, he at least gave Zhang more of a fight than Joyce did to his credit.

Yeah the WBC and Fury have shown us that mandatories don't really mean much.

Really, Hearn just said they're closing in on a new venue. I know he's a bit of a chancer but that's a brazen lie if wrong.

He's been saying AJ vs Wilder is set for December and then he said January and now he's saying the talks have broken down.

That was the whole point of having a warm up fight a few weeks ago but once again, the fight has fallen through.

Hearn's an expert liar. I would always take his words with a bucket full of salt.

Joyce like many British boxers has absolutely no head movement. Against a quality opponent he's far too easy to hit

Don't they teach boxers how to move their head and evade punches to the face in British boxing clubs ?

Last thing he said (today) was they are looking for a new venue.

I know he's full of sheite, just saying it's not dead yet.

I'll believe AJ vs Wilder when I see it. They've supposedly been trying to make that fight happen for five or six years and it never does.
