Now though it's mutated into something that barely resembles a boxing contest and very little of the attention is going to be about the boxing itself. Outside of a Canelo fight, Jr isn't getting a bigger pay day than the Benn fight. I actually think the way the first fight was cancelled, will make the fight even bigger. Jr will have a bag load of ammunition and he won't hold back.

A fight with Eubank and Benn could only go one way in the promotion of the fight.
The circumstances around the fight make it horrible, however the "drama" and they back story is the reason people want them to fight not their in the ring ability. Neither are world level IMO.
I cant wait for the build up, I hope Eubank goes in hard on the PED issue, the last thing I want is this issue becoming chip shop wrapper stuff and the casual forgets about.
Make it as public and obvious as it can be the he is a convicted cheat and he believes he is still on the gear.

I'm not against Jr ducking him but he was posturing like he was the next big thing at the time. If you can't back the talk up, perhaps it's best not to talk at all. That's one of the reasons I've never really been a fan of Jr until recently.
If he's been more humble and less arrogant he'd have had a bigger fanbase and maybe not ended up with egg on his face like he has done at times in his career.

I'd watch Jr vs Benn, as both guys are still young and their styles mesh well. At the very least, it would be an entertaining fight.

Now though it's mutated into something that barely resembles a boxing contest and very little of the attention is going to be about the boxing itself. Outside of a Canelo fight, Jr isn't getting a bigger pay day than the Benn fight. I actually think the way the first fight was cancelled, will make the fight even bigger. Jr will have a bag load of ammunition and he won't hold back.

A fight with Eubank and Benn could only go one way in the promotion of the fight.
The circumstances around the fight make it horrible, however the "drama" and they back story is the reason people want them to fight not their in the ring ability. Neither are world level IMO.
I cant wait for the build up, I hope Eubank goes in hard on the PED issue, the last thing I want is this issue becoming chip shop wrapper stuff and the casual forgets about.
Make it as public and obvious as it can be the he is a convicted cheat and he believes he is still on the gear.
