Dreadful performance by Smith regardless of any injury claims.
Absolute out classed him.
Wow..
Forget the trilogy.
Both men should move on.
Why would an ankle injury prevent Smith throwing punches?

Agreed. Even with two good ankles, I think Jr looked like he was well prepared.
smith got battered
hard to believe the complete turnaround since the 1st fight

All the power comes from the legs.
However, it shouldn't prevent him from throwing punches on the inside, which he never done.

I suspect the first fight was a fluke.
BoMac's ass barely fits in the ring
smith didnt throw one decent punch
easy for eubank to nail him with the uppercut again & again

Smith won the first fight fair and square. He got battered tonight though, barely threw a punch.
Jr vs Brook next would interest me. Tired of the whole Eubank Benn saga.
I'd prefer a Jr vs Benn fight.
Brook is past it now and should enjoy retirement.
Jr vs Benn at 160lbs. None of this catchweight nonsense.
Eubank calling out Golovkin now he's a 40+ year old spent force lol. Didn't want any part of him a few years back which is why Brook ended up taking the fight.

That's what I mean. You can't not throw any punches. Smith was just a forward and backward moving punchbag for most of that fight.
That's once Benn is cleared of consuming large amounts of eggs.

I suspect the ankles drained him of any fight. He was mentally too weak.
As I mentioned earlier, if that was Canelo with an injured ankle, he's still throwing leather until his reaches the final bell or goes out on his shield.

I have zero interest. Too much has happened to sully the fight. It wouldn't be about boxing and would be all about the other BS.
At least Benn is still in his prime and the fight has the historical element of their fathers names.
Kell Brook was doing cocaine a few months ago and is clearly not in any shape to fight again.
Jr seems difficult to train but tonight we saw an educated jab and Bo Mac deserves credit for that. That hands down style Jr adopted under Roy Jones clearly wasn't effective.

Tbh I've never bought into the idea that their fathers fought so they have to. We should have got a third Benn Eubank fight back in the day but we didn't and this feels like a crap way of trying to make up for that.
Also they're two different weight classes so trying to make these guys meet at a catch-weight feels like such a force. There will always be some argument about how the weight disadvantaged the loser etc. Just doesn't work for me this fight, never really did.
A for Kell I wasn't aware about that but sportsmen doing coke is nothing new and wouldn't necessarily effect his fitness or ability to get for for the fight. Half of PL footballers are probably on it. Would be a lot easier for Kell to meet Eubank at 160 as I doubt he makes 147 anymore if he tries.
