Fury has no intention of ever fighting Usyk.
Why hasn’t Fury been ordered to defend his belt? Who is the mandatory?

Sadly I agree. For years Fury talked about Delboy being his last fight and I suspect that may well be the case. This upcoming debacle doesn't count as a professional boxing contest as far as I'm concerned. And I seriously doubt we see Fury in a boxing ring again after this fight.
Warren actually going through with this appeal lol. He must know he has zero chance but he's told the world he'll appeal so has to go through with it.

Three stones over weight

If you pay for this circus fight then you are part of the reason that Fury vs Usyk hasn't happened yet and may not ever happen.

Joyce vs Zhang 2 this weekend.
Weigh in results:
Joyce: 281lbs
Zhang: 287lbs
Wonder if the judges will be on the Joyce payroll like last time? 🤔

Hearing arguments either way for Joyce's weight gain. He's about a stone heavier than he was for the Parker fight. But Zhang is also heavier than the last fight. I think the weight won't hurt Joyce if Zhang is also coming in even heavier than last time. Should even out but let's seen. Fascinating fight and everything on the line.
If Joyce can get through the early rounds without taking too much damage, he should be able to stop Zhang, who fatigues after round 7.
How the weight impacts Joyce will be interesting. It might strengthen his chin and gas tank but it could also leave him even slower.
Yeah the first half of the fight is going to determine who wins it. If Joyce can stop Zhang battering that eye then he should be able to take control of the fight in the second half with his superior stamina. But Joyce not exactly known for his head movement so he's going to need to have a good plan to negate Zhang's southpaw stance.
The extra weight from both fighters is going to be fascinating. Zhang is such a huge heavyweight, his head looks like a boulder, reminds of Valuev in that way. I think Joyce is wise to come in at his heaviest imo, just hope that extra stone or so doesn't slow him down too much.
I think Joyce is hoping that extra weight reinforces his chin and allows him to take the shots better. However, at some point the chin will shatter and it could happen tonight.
I'm more worried about Joyce's eye than his chin, Zhang saying he's going to target the eye again so Joyce and his team better have a gameplan to try and negate that otherwise the fight will go the same way as the last fight.

Only two ways to negate that.
1. KO Zhang before he gets a chance to damage the eye
2. Head movement
Since the second option exists only in an alternate universe, he will have to do the first.
Yeah Joyce wouldn't know how to move his head. I don't think it does move tbh, probably cemented in place. He could try moving his feet more to prevent that Zhang straight but don't think that's in his arsenal either. One of them is getting stopped tonight, I do know that.
