For any numpties still saying it was a Kane dive - the keeper admitted he made contact with Kane while on his reckless slide. You can see from his reaction too that he knew he'd caught him.
For any numpties still saying Lamela dived - Lamela got kicked in the penalty area and went down. Like all red players would. He had two options at that point. 1) Allow van Dijk to hoof his (very well-telegraphed) clearance upfield in 93rd minute. Or 2) Compete and put his body in the way to take possession of the ball before Virgil made contact with it. The fact the defender was unable to pull out of the challenge has NEVER meant it's not a foul.
For any numpties still wetting the bed over Alli's dive. Please type 'Suarez dives' into google and then re-evaluate your hypocrisies. Alli dived - no rolling around, no screwed up face. In fact he didn't even appeal for anything...took two more touches while on the floor. Stood up apologised to ref and took the punishment.
Alli has received the same number of yellows for diving as Zaha this season, and only one more than Sterling, Sane, Adam Smith and Pedro. Yet bizarrely he has been on the receiving end of 95% of simulation articles in newspapers / websites. With Kane probably covering the remainder! A man who until a few weeks ago was notorious for trying to stay on his feet when he perhaps should go down.
Brilliant article!!! Eloquently put as well

Great article, and I was thinking the same, Spurs Officials, players or supporters have hardly said a word about the clear offside goal last night, but also the clear penalty when Ali was brought down against Man United. Compared to the outcry over the penalties at Anfield, when the whole of their supporters and the media went into a complete meltdown for days after.

How dare you put words in my mouth Galv!
But I will say I'm proud our team's response was to knuckle down and turn the sh1tstorm around.
And I'm proud our supporters aren't blaming every man and his dog for a clear officiating error, but are focusing on the positives.
I reckon Poch's positivity may even be rubbing off on the fanbase.

Agreed, we're just simply a better set of fans and a better club and they just plain can't stand the fact.

More of us too. Officially the best supported club in the world. I guess that's what success brings.
I never thought these Spurs fans could actually get any worse with their obsession for us. I was sadly mistaken.

You are obsessed about our obsession. Who ‘aloud’ you to be so obsessed?
Greatteams - so you admit it was the emotion of the 'last minute' situation at Anfield rather than the actual events on the pitch that led to Liverpool fans totally losing their heads?
I get that a draw at Juve is nice, but without the offside goal we could have had WIN in Turin. A win we deserved. Yet still no whinging (until I show up!)
It seems obvious to me that following Salah's 91st min goal - a real beauty by the way - Anfield KNEW they'd won it. Klopp KNEW. Hence his run down the touchline. The problem with that reaction is it left him and the fans with nowhere to go psychologically when a perfectly valid 94th minute pen was scored.
