That isn't all we hear from him though. He said last night we didn't play well enough and he has said it previously. I don't hear him making excuses. The team needs to show more confidence though. When we were on our winning run we weren't just shutting up shop, we were getting three-nil wins. It wouldn't take much to get back on track and finish strongly but games are running out.

We've only had five flukey 3-0's though, and a 5-0 when we were super-lucky.
It's a disgrace.
At season's end there can be a post-mortem and decisions made about what to do for next season. You feel our best chance this season is for everybody to try to pull together and for the fans to get right behind the team and manager. Plenty of teams have stuttered in the regular season, limped into the play-offs and ended up getting promoted.
Well I for one am right behind the team and manager and look forward to limping into the play-offs and getting promoted
666's gout means he limps everywhere.
That's commitment to the cause, that is.
I also heard that he is limp everywhere.
I'm unable to watch the Forest game on Sunday as I'm out in the desert filming. (yes, really) I was gutted, but after QPR, I'm kind of glad I don't have to get very stressed - because this game is even more huge than it normally is. A win would cause us to perhaps kick in with renewed hope...a loss...I don't really want to think about it.
Well I for two am right behind the team and manager and look forward to limping into the play-offs and getting promoted
That's the spirit! Nice one Vidal
Cardiff’s Neil Warnock is embarrassing the league with his experience, Rowett take note
I still can't believe Gary didn't start Vyddi against a team shipping goals when he needed a confidence boost. Absolutely bonkers.
STEP YOUR GAME UP GARY.
Exactly. Storm social media! Spread the word.
DCFC606 has awoken. And it is angry.........
I’m absolutely buzzing for Sundays’s game, personally. I reckon they think they’re going to batter us and I also think last night could have been a watershed game for us. A win would be massive... It’s backs to the wall time and I think we are going to be well up for it.
Gonna be a great atmosphere. Bring it on!
Vydra will start Sunday... 👍🐑

Vydra strained his groin against Leeds and didn't do much against Fulham. Maybe Vydra was carrying an injury and Rowett didn't think he could play a full game. Could be better to bring him on later when the opposition is tired. We never know all the facts behind selection but it never stops us making judgements.
Spart so if you’ve got an answer for that one why did rowett make six changes against Sheffield Wednesday?
To give half the team a kick up the ar5e, Wassa.

I promise you, we won’t batter you
The key moment will be, when we present you with the inevitable chances, will your dip in form and added pressure of the league situation mean you won’t be as clinical as you were earlier in the year
If not then we may go on the nick it, if you take the chances could be another 2-0 to you.
I didn't give you an answer Wassa, I gave you a possible reason. I may be wrong by a good country mile. I couldn't understand what Olsson and Wisdom had done so bad in the previous game to be dropped against Wednesday. It didn't do us much good though.
Bunk, think you are playing us at the right time and it is your chance to take the BC trophy. If you don't it might be another long wait to get your hands on it.
I am not seeing anything to suggest the cycle of the last 5/6 season will be broken for either of us
