City
Reason - They're a better football team with a better manager and better players
Bobby....not really a good reason though is it. City better than wigan.....who went through.
If it was as simple as "the better team" then cfc would never have a CL trophy: Leicester would never be PL champions....and wouldnt utd have beaten sevilla??
Man City are the favourites.

More often than not the better team wins though so it’s probably a valid reason
How is that not a good reason?
I can't see us keeping a clean sheet in either game. However I can also see us scoring a few goals in both games. If the first leg ends, say, 3-2 to us, I won't be very concerned because we're more than capable of scoring at least two away goals due to the style of both teams.
First leg 2-2
Second leg 4-1
City go through 6-3
Liverpool fans to say they never expected to win anyway and a quarter final, fourth place and no trophies as well as finishing 20 points behind City means they’re just a Keita away from being the best side in Eueope.
Ok.....so then. Last time city beat liverpool at Anfield?? Anyone??
Because u know the 1st game is at Anfield..right?
And b4 u all go....lfc walloped at etihad shocker....there are many differences now and imo that was a freak result.
If West Brom can score 3 at Anfield then City can. And they did
Robb.....well sorry to fk up your post match thoughts but i DO expect lfc to go through.
In fact if city go through by 3 clear goals u can change my user name......because frankly i will be amazed if the scoreline u predict happens....barring a ref disaster that is

We haven't lost an important game at Anfield for nearly a decade yet i bet you predict a home win every time every time we rock up?
In all honesty Liverpool have a 20% chance of going through. Sevilla had that against us and they went through so you never know. But it will be a shock result if you do.
I’m sure they’ll be two fun games though and I’ll be watching just hoping for goals with no care who goes through
We have more than a 20% chance of going through.
City by sheer weight of money spent on their team. They also have a manager who knows how to spend it.
It would be a shock if we went through TBH.
Robb...so lfc europes top CL scorers, undefeated in the CL and playing at one of europes most difficult grounds for the away team have a 20% shot of going through.
The same Liverpool that so far are the only league side to defeat city....have a 20% shot of going through?
Yeah ok fella..i get your logic

The same side who you’re 18 points behind in the league and who scored 3 goals at your ground and have put 8 goals past you this season.
Don’t be annoyed that you are the underdogs. It’s just a reality. You may well go through. But it would be a shock

Yes we are the underdogs. But it would not be a shock. We are Liverpool, not Wigan. That was a shock.
Ultimately I feel it will come down to how many goals City get at Anfield. If Liverpool can keep a clean sheet and win the game they have a huge chance of going though. But city will have Silva this time and he will likely be pulling the strings in a way City missed at Anfield.
Would much rather Liverpool win but think City will go through 4-2 over two legs
