I've heard you're targetting Yiadom and McBurnie, McBurnie is proving to be very good at this level with 4 goals in 5 despite playing in a chit squad.
Yiadom is a quality full-back who wouldn't look out of place in an EPL side minus the traditional top 7.
Hey, Braveheart, thanks for the lowdown on these two players. Leeds supporters have a lot of concerns about Heckingbottom. What is your view of him as a manager? Can he motivate the team and will he come good if he brings in his own players?
I’ve seen nowhere near enough to warrant him being here next year, that said I felt this international break was the time to make a change and let the new manager get a look.
Should be aiming for a quality MANAGER who selects his own transfer targets.
Yiadom joined Barnsley in May 2016 for a free transfer, on a 2 year contract.[8] He made 32 appearances for Barnsley in his first season, helping them retain Championship status impressing at Right Back.[9] He was offered a new deal by Barnsley on 30 July 2017, which he turned down.[10]
On 10 August 2017, after rejecting two bids from Premier League side Huddersfield Town, Barnsley agreed a fee with Huddersfield (believed to be around £3 million) for the signing with the player to undertake a medical to complete the move,[11] However on the 18 August 2017, the move collapsed and Yiadom returned to Barnsley.[12] On transfer deadline day 31 August 2017, Yiadom had agreed to join Premier League side Swansea City, however on the 1 September it was announced that the paperwork submitted for the move had not gone through before the 23:00 BST Transfer Window deadline and the move was thus not sanctioned, leading Yiadom to return to Barnsley.[13]
He was made Barnsley Captain during the 2017/18 season.[14]
International career Edit
McBurnie began his career with Bradford City, spending two loan spells at Chester. He later signed for Swansea City, spending time on loan at Newport County, Bristol Rovers and Barnsley.
Born in England, he represents Scotland at international level, making his senior debut in March 2018
Why would we be after a right back
Ayling
Baradi
Coyle
id of taken -
we are terrible too, but have a couple of decent players other clubs in the league would take.
look at the bigger picture
So one is wanted by both Swansea and Hudds and the other is actually a Swansea player who was born in Leeds.
Both have experience in this league and both seem to be a cut above the other Barnsley players.
I’m not sure about Heck either but we all wanted a coach who had input into transfers. I guess it’s only natural he will return to his old club for the players he thinks he can work with. Especially if we have a mid-table budget.

He’s also classed as a winger so I guess he can fill both slots.
Ayling is good. Berardi is not that good and Coyle I’ve not seen enough of but looks OK if a little inexperienced. Good back up for the future.
So why do we keep hearing that PH is targetting players from Barnsley..?.

Hmmm, that’s a tough one....
Also have Bryce hosannah who is a young lad 18 I believe, getting rave reviews from the development squad.....in safe hands with right back position so long as the club don't fook it up

Agreed but his like aren’t gonna get us out of this league.
To be fair Orta’s recruitment at TA has been pretty good. Maybe he should concentrate on that and let the coach have more input into the first team squad.
I think AR will make some big calls in the summer.
Could Ayling be seen as a CB option?
On current form they are no worse than we are, league table flatters us.
Might not improve our squad but those players couldn't make us worse.
Stoopo I want to see several of the lads being given a chance between now and the end of the season, two have started already). Possibly too early for Bryce though what I have seen of him has been good.
Dalby and Clarke might not look out of place, others could step up.
Stoops he'll have no choice but to make those big calls, potential season tick holders will be watching.....
Next season is going to be a disaster, even more so than this one....I'm calling it now
The questions I do have is whose idea was the long contracts ? And how do we get out of them with certain players ?.....I suppose the obvious thing is to let players go on the cheap elsewhere, but can we bear those losses ?

Just no
So far I’ve heard play Dallas at left back, sign a right back even though we’ve loads but hey he “can play winger” and now play our best right back at centre
What the fook is wrong with people
SIGN GOOD PLAYERS AND PLAY THEM IN THEIR BEST POSITION
It’s like some have to try to defend the club at all costs
And stoopo
Just stop, you said orta signed good players in the summer, you even said Felix was as good as green
We essentially need a whole new spine to our team
GK
CB
CM
Selling Green has cost us this season.
Selling wood
Not replacing Taylor or Bartley
And most of all not signing midfield general
Isn't Pablo our midfield general?
He certainly plays in midfield.
Thinking of the Wilko team Wakey, is it a Batty, Speed, Gary Mc or Strachan type we need?
Could Ayling be seen as a CB option?
