Bonatini has mirrored the form of Iwelumo when we last went up and shouldn't be considered on a full time deal. We can buy better players who can still do all the link up play but with more of an end product.
Afobe maybe but only as backup and not on a long term deal.

Its still a no from on Afobe me. I would thank him for his efforts (he has done what we brought him here to do) and let him go back.
We already knew he can score goals at this level, but his all round play doesn't quite fit the system and he has been found wanting in a footballing side at Premier League level before. He wanted to leave Bournemouth for first team football and I don't think he will get it here next season if we go out a make a marquee signing in that position.
I wouldn't be too bothered if we did sign him, but given the choice I'd say no.
The thing about Afobe is that you can see that he plays like he "doesn't belong". Whether that is a residue from the fall-out the last time he was here, I don't know. Sad how it's turned out, and his goals have certainly been useful.
It was notable when the players were doing their lap of honour yesterday that Afobe was often seen to be on his own seperate from the main group of players. Not really sure his face has fit regardless of the football debates

No they were about £20 back then, a weeks wages for me old man. This was no brand hexagon panel job.
Any news on Cav's injury?
Looked like a hamstring which would mean we won't see him again this season.

OMG! That's terrible news.
We need one more point and only have 3 more games against the teams in 20th, 16th and 24th in the league. Do we think we will do it without Cav
I see Garry Monk has decided not to appeal the red card after all. I guess he has watched the video replay and realised that it wasn't just 'mistimed'.
