You will be disappointed if you believe even 1% of the guff that is posted on here.

Reality is we have signed Boly, Jota, Vinagre, Bonatini, Jimenez and Patricio - one of the best keepers in the World. And Neves has extended his contract too.

If it wasn't for the fact that those players were with Wolves last season and they were new signings you would be delighted with the Summers work to date.

Top players want to play for top teams. It's a chicken and egg situation. We will find it difficult to attract top players until we are a top team, but we won't be a top team without top players ........

Yeah I hear you Vinnie, I am not currently disappointed that is for sure but do think we need a few players brought in yet, a striker for one.

I don’t think there’s anything to be disappointed about this summer. Just securing Boly and Jota permanently makes it an excellent summer transfer window but we have already done that and more. I suspect we will see other arrivals too,but when the season starts, for sure disappointment will not be the emotion, it’s an optimism we have never felt before at the start of a Premier League season

Fact is that whilst it is great to have secured Boly and Jota neither has made us stronger than we were last season.

In terms of making us stronger thus far we have added Patricio and Jimenez with the former no doubt an excellent acquisition whilst we don't really know what Jimenez will bring but we have reason to suspect he will be pretty handy but I am.not sure he would/should be the 'answer' up front.

I do think we will add a few more players yet mind.

At this moment the squad does not look much stronger than last seasons, we need cover in midfield for Neves and in defence for Doherty and definitely a striker.

Even if we hadn’t signed anyone new this summer I think last season’s squad would get a decent position in the Premier. Also they will be better than last season, that’s the advantage of having a young squad, young players get better. I hope we sign two or three more good players and I think we will, but I won’t feel disappointed if we don’t, the investment since Fosun have been here has been beyond all expectations

For the past few seasons I've read on here how we need 5 or 6 new players every summer. The reality is, we usually end up with 3 or 4.

Nuno wants a smaller squad this season and we all know that we have far too many players at the club whom he needs to move on.

I'm sure he'll get what he wants by the time the season starts, but my biggest concern is how we're going to offload the players who aren't going to feature for us.
