Jonny is said to be able to play across the back line but played almost exclusively as a left back last season. He seems more of a solid defender than the marauding wing backs that we've become accustomed to. He only appears to have put one cross in every three games last season. Still, seems a solid addition to the squad if it is confirmed.

Moutinho has pretty similar stats to Neves. Can't shoot like Ruben but seems to slide the striker in more (6 assists for league season and nearly two "key passes" per game). Look forward to seeing him posing in old gold later.

yea i think Neves and Moutinho will give us a solid base in midfield for some nice ball retention, that's something you don't often see in the newly promoted teams, that ability to slow the game down and keep the ball

Not sure about Pepe Tino, too much of a hot head.

It will be sad to see Barry go as he did provide many assists last season from crosses and free kicks, but we do have a certain Neves who is more than capable of providing the same. It also gives us a chance to see Vinagre more often if Nuno decides to keep him. He's currently away with the Portugal U19's in Finland.

If Portugal reach the final of the U19 Euro's in Finland, then I don't see Vinagre being available for the start of the season on 11th August as I'm sure he'll be given tine off and wouldn't have been involved in pre season matches.

Also Douglas is "home-grown" which is a positive for the club.
