U19s game on sky, vinagre looks some player, hope Nuno gives him a chance.

No idea how true that is perton but it is a teeny concern when you also hear the same rumours regarding Cavaleiro.

I hope when the tough gets going, which it will at times now that we don't implode and see a different Nuno.

To ditch a player for one breach, particularly a consistent and reliable player like Douglas is not right, so either there is more we do not know or Nuno has a worryingly egotistical and dogmatic side to him which will harm team moral, but of course what perton has heard could be complete boll...cks

Hope it isn't true cinci, but there are a lot of rumours going around about it. Haven't heard anything about Cavaleiro though.

Guys this is why there are strong rumours, no substance, but it just gets passed on like chinese whispers, and eventually everyone talks about it like fact.

I'm sure Barry was simply not deemed good enough, 3-rising to 5 million, for a player on the last year of his contract, is good business. Especially when trying to stay within FFP.

If it means we are able to bring in newer and better players, then it's the right decision. Stop making it more than it is.

Good luck Barry, but we move on.

Bid rejected for Traore

Nothing sinister about the sale of Douglas whatsoever and this made up story about a discipline issue is complete garbage. It’s a position Wolves wanted to strengthen and I fully support that view

Is Traore really anything special? Quick yes but would think if he was that good then someone else would have been in for him by now.

Traore is quick but his final ball is woeful.

Hasn't it been you saying there is an issue behind the scenes with Cavaleiro but yet you rubbish this claim!?!?

If this is supposed to be an upgrade on Cavaleiro then we are sadly mistaken.

Traore was excellent against Wolves at the Riverside last season and lots of Wolves fans were saying after that game he was someone we should go for. His final pass is so woeful he got 11 assists last season for a Tony Pulis team that would more often than not bypass midfield

I honestly see him being used as competition for Doherty.

I know, I know he isn't a fullback. But if he can adapt to that role, How dangerous would he be, with Neves and moutinho pinging pin point balls out for him to run onto.

I think a great option.

His career started as a fullback, before he was converted due to his pace and trickery.

Other clubs (in higher positions than Wolves currently are) have shown interest in him previously to convert him to a wing back.

There are rumours this is Nuno's plan too.

I think it was Chelsea who were rumoured to have looked at him as a replacement for Victor Moses.

Incredible really. I too have read that statement from our resident 'holy' one. I think he also highlighted the fact that Cavaleiro wasn't involved Saturday, but the ever reliable E & S says he may have had a knock.

I'm hoping that the sale of Douglas means that we will retain the services of Vinagre instead of loaning him out.
