The rumours about Martens have come about due to people misinterpreting an article in the Spanish press. He has agreed to sign for Athletico Madrid but that can’t be finalised until FIFA rule on whether Sporting Lisbon are entitled to a fee for the players who resigned, like Patricio

At this moment the squad does not look much stronger than last seasons, we need cover in midfield for Neves and in defence for Doherty and definitely a striker.

It's strange because quite a few Wolves fans were saying how you'd be spending big this summer.

I've been telling you all for months that, because your turnover is comparatively low, FFP rules would inhibit any large scale spending.

Provided you guys stay up this coming season, your owners need to put some serious effort into boosting your turnover. If they don't, your stay in the Premier League will be a huge damp squib!
