Arsenal FC statement:
“Arsène will lead the team to the end of the season and we will make an appointment as soon as possible. The club will not be making any further comment on the selection process until an appointment is made.”
Ivan Gazidis is expected to hold a press conference this evening at 5pm at which further details should emerge.

Not necessarily. The replacement could be still in a job at International level or club level.
If it’s Arteta or Viera would you be underwhelmed?

Now we can look forward to an entire summer of haggling over the new guy's wages and severance payments.
Hopefully Arsene retires in style then returns in disguise as the new manager, that is the best scenario here.

Says a lot about Wenger that the fans of other teams are saying they want him to stay.
Goodbye and thanks for the memories, distant memories that is.
wearethefamousTHFC what you doin on our turf punk?
Love the guy and his philosophy. It would be better if he leaves on a high, because he must be remembered as a great manager.
Really hope the squad will step up against Atletico.
Love how Wenger always tried to play attacking football, so I was a bit frustrated in the last few years. Hopefully our last signings indicate which sort of manager we are chasing.
Hounded out by the fans
Way to go fella
Welcome to the real world Arsenal.
The drama and speculation of looking for and appointing a new manager is part of the fun of football. If it was up to me there would be a maximum number of years you can do like an American president.
Does this make Poch the longest serving in the league?

Another trophy bites the dust.
Ok. The longest serving at one club while in the PL then.
Next AFTV video out, will break that 'Despacito' Youtube record.
