Shazam 2 will make less than both Black Adam and Ant Man 3.

Yeah it's gonna flop hard.

They seem to be making the same mistake as Thor L&T in the sense they're trying to go bigger in all aspects of the previous movie which just actually makes it a mess

Even though phase four has been crap at least we still have jewel in the crown and best movie of said phase, the masterpiece that is Morbius. And don't be a Morbs denier and try to claim it's not part of phase 4.

I'm backing Shazam 2 to shock the world and cross the billion mark. Now we know that there is no future in this character I'm expecting audiences to flock to the cinema for one last chance to see him on the big screen.

On a serious note I think we're now actually seeing the slow death of the comic book movie. As a company Disney are very much on the slide it seems and Marvel Studios doesn't appear to know what it's doing anymore with the once great MCU.

Warner Bros aren't faring better with DC movies and are looking even more clueless with constant course correcting, reboots and changes in direction. So where does this all lead ? Nowhere good I think.

Maybe Morbius was the last great comic book movie

I think as far as origin stories go, it's a genuine masterpiece.

For me:

2) Batman Begins
3) Deadpool
4) Man of Steel

Even though Morbius 2 hasn't been made yet and won't be an origin story I think we can safely put it at number 2 on this list. Can never be as good as the original of course.
