And as you know I have been watching X-Men 97.. got up to Ep 6. Which was meh, kinda filler. But I’m still enjoying it. Cos I know all hell is aboot to break loose.

Well what makes a fan? I enjoy some of their content, but I’m no die hard like you and Pun, wearing Spandex and face masks to Bed or to Weddings and Funerals.

But Spider-Man is my favourite of the Marvel world, so there’s that.

Candidly, I am disappointed in your life choices.

I can understand why you would not watch Shogun. It's a show set in 1700s Japan, with subtitles and an all japanese cast. Men that luck culture and sophistication will be turned off by those types of shows.

However, are you not a marvel fan? Have you not enjoyed the rise of the MCU? Did you not grow up watching marvel animated shows? If the answer to any of those is a yes, then why on earth would you not choose to watch the best content that Disney have put out since Phase 3. It is truly confounding to witness such behaviour. It's like being a Star Wars fan and choosing not to watch Episode 3.

Kingdom of the Planet of the apes - 8.5/10

As a huge fan of the Ceasar trilogy, I was excited to watch this sequel and it certainly delivered. The main character hasn't got the presence of Ceasar but he has his unique aura and you can't help but connect to him. The world building continues to be excellent and perhaps only bettered by the incredible visuals. The apes look real and they feel real. The villain plays his part well and he poses a different threat to Koba, which adds to a great overall story. The journey from start to finish is one that I found myself absorbed in and when it ended, I wanted more. Highly recommended.
