Yeah this season could’ve been the last tbh

The episodes in isolation all had great moments but yeah the overall story just limped along

The overall story was put on the back burner for various character development stories but the last episode showed that they didn’t really need a whole season for these characters’ arcs to be at the point it’s needed to close the show.

I think the response to season 4 which has been a bit mixed probably pushed them to the realisation that the show needs to end

I enjoyed the season though. Deep was his usual awkward best. Firecracker is an hilarious addition. Hughie is still a fackboi. Butcher is back. Homelander will be a tyrant again. Nature is healing

Ryan is a loose canon. Like how GoT hints at Daenarys being just like the mad king

Hmm. When he killed the actor guy he genuinely seemed terrified of what just happened.
Everything homelander makes him do he disagrees with. He doesn't really like anything his dad does and only does it out of fear.
Then suddenly he purposefully commits murder.
I can kind of see the similarities with Daenarys but she was always a mass murderer really, remember even when she is a sweet girl she put all those blokes on crosses for all to see and she loved it. Writing was on the wall with that one.

I like Deeps character, as pointless as it is. He adds almost nothing to the show but he's a good laugh so gets a pass, same with the new Black Noir really but his new character is a bit lame, preferred him as the silent unstoppable ninja.

My favourite character of the season was Homelander. I thought he was hilarious throughout.

I am looking forward to season 5 but can't help be fairly disappointed with season 4.

What ever happened to A train?

I thought s3 was better but had an awful ending. S4 not great but ended strongly. Could have been condensed into one the way it went.

S5 should be amazing either way.

Guess I've gotta watch Gen V

Reeves and co are still trying to make it happen, he said he's spoken to Gunn about it, but at this stage it sounds like the script is still being written and no release date, etc.

That trailer is using shots from JW and The Matrix 4.

Would love to see them move forward with it though.

The new movies have been great.

The Ceasar movies is one of the best trilogies of all time in my opinion.
