I finished season 4 of The Boys yesterday and found the last episode especially quite unsatisfying. Felt like there was a lack of big action sequences from previous seasons. Was season 4 made on a tighter budget ? Looked it to me.

Yeah didn't think the actual episode was great. The setup at the end was good but the episode itself wasn't amazing.

The CGI when Butcher killed Neuman was like something you'd see in a budget Syfy show. The whole season felt off to me. Was waiting for a big payoff moment in the finale as the action had been so scarce throughout season 4. But it just never happened and the whole things ends in a bit of a whimper.

Amazon probably made their graphics department redundant and outsourced to India.

Question: Why doesn't Homelander just wipe The Boys out in one second with a click of the fingers lol ?

Hasn't the entire last four seasons been Homelander's battle and struggle against Butcher and The Boys? Pretty sure he sees them as a threat.

It's more The Boys vs Vought but arguably the bigger, better storyline is Butcher vs Homelander
