Nice teaser and the last I’ll watch now.
Capt Marvel next month
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m 99.5% sure it will be predictable and flat.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No once cares what you think
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You will when you realise I’m right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you honestly go into these films without being able to predict the whole thing after 15mins?
The only one that’s not been predictable was the new avengers one (and probably one of the only good things marvel have done).

Go into pretty much every film being able to predict what will happen.
If your not interested the maybe stay of the thread. Pretty simple
I am interested in the last avengers, they’ve really turned it round from the forgettable first few films. Plus I love GoG, brilliant films. The rest are meh.
Finishing off DC Titans on Netflix
Tbh doesn't have much on the og animated series from when I was a kid
Its very violent but I agree with many of the reviews I've seen that the tone is all over the place
Deathstroke is going to be in the next series though and he's my all time favourite DC villain
If your not interested the maybe stay of the thread. Pretty simple

They seem to have made a conscious effort with Captain Marvel to make it less like a typical origin story. Looking forward to it.
Not sure on Captain Marvel, the character could be brilliant given the power she has but the actress they've picked has been so boring and dull in every film I've seen her in.
Yeah the trailer actually looked good.
Most films are predictable, it’s well known within film that the vast majority follow a very similar story arc - there is a blueprint most follow. Doesn’t mean they can’t be good films.

No, I’d agree to sone extent. Marvel films will never be ‘the usual suspects’ but they are generally doomed by the fact no one ever gets killed in them (main players anyway) where in other films they might kill them off really unexpectedly. (Aside infinity war). But as you say, it doesn’t make them bad films for it, most marvel stuff is way too formulatic, but they do seem to be getting better.
Doomed by the fact they are superhero films that don’t kill off the superheroes?
Film franchises rarely kill off the main characters, it’d be stupid to do so. Film franchises build continuity through the characters, you are basically judging it on criteria from completely different genres of film. It’s a weird complaint, to be honest.

And therein is the inherent problem, predictable. They all pretty much follow the same story in slightly different guises. My complaint isn’t so much the killing part, it’s more the completely predictable storyline they all follow.
But like I said, it’s still a weird complaint. The hero story has been following the same blueprint since Ancient Greece.

I’ve never really see anything about titans before.
I felt it was good but was a bit weird. 1 ep would be full on and the next barely anything happened.
Enjoyed it being darker than most shows though.
Got good potential going forward.

Yep looking forward to Capt marvel but that’s mainly as it’s going to be a great set up for endgame.
I’m assuming they’ll be a post credit scene setting it up for her

Teen Titans was fantastically dark at times in it's own right for children's cartoon. Especially when it came down to Robin vs Slade(Deathstroke)
The Judas Contract storyline is pretty famous in the comic books
Really enjoyed Titans. It's very silly at times but it was very entertaining. Looking forward to season 2.
Upcoming films
Captain Marvel > March 8, 2019
Shazam! > April 5, 2019
Hellboy > April 12, 2019
Avengers: Endgame > April 26, 2019
Dark Phoenix > June 7, 2019
Spider-Man: Far from Home > July 5, 2019
That Shazam looks horrific.
Liked hellboy, looking forward to that, and avengers. . I’ll give captain marvel a swerve.
I couldn’t go into endgame without seeing captain marvel before hand
Is Hellboy a remake/sequel/prequel/ R-rated?
