Angry Joe has done a good breakdown of the trailer. Dude knows his Superman. Don't agree with a lot he's saying like the suit being a 10/10 but he makes a valid point that this is going to very much lean into the comic books for it's aesthetic:

David doesn't fit the look of Superman for me.

Regardless of what people thought of their movies, Routh and Cavill looked the part, almost as much as Reeves did.

David looks like a combo of Welling and Cavill.

People were remarking years ago about how Superman-like he looked.
