I have no compunction that it's a temporary retirement. Actors rarely retire, unless they are genuinely unable to work. If the right role comes around, she'll make a return.

String, I hope you now see why I was so insistent on you completing your journey to the light side and watching Shogun. You could have been part of something special but you prolonged your success out of defiance and sheer cowardice.

Shogun is undoubtedly the best show from last year despite not really blowing your mind away story wise.

But the attention to detail to everything production related set it apart from everything else.

Also having Mariko sama on screen helped a lot as well.

Not in a hurry, I'm more patient than most. But having to wait another three years for a movie that's supposedly going to take place in the aftermath of where The Penguin left off is a long wait lol.

Plenty of others looking forward to The Batman 2 though, not just me. It's a well loved movie and The Penguin was also very well liked. Just a shame that instead of them building on all that good will we have years to wait for whatever comes next in the story. It's a long time.

Also let's not forget that this isn't the first delay to The Batman 2, this is the third delay. Initially we were meant to be getting the movie this year. Movies that get delayed three times don't usually end up getting made in Hollywood, so let's hope this one is an exception to the rule.

The Batman came out in 2021. The Penguin came out in 2024. The Batman 2 is scheduled to be released in 2027
