Did anyone watch the older X-Men animated series from the 90s

That was difficult to follow at times if you picked up random episodes on TV

You can still get it on Cartoon Area if you want to watch it again.

I prefer X Men Evolution, is that on there?

I'm a big fan of Evolution too. I loved the animation and it felt very sinister, especially the whole Apocalypse arc.

Yeah that show proved the dramatic potential of Apocalypse when done correctly

My issue is that both of the film series built to Dark Phoenix

The end boss should be Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix is the extra pay off if you manage to do Apocalypse justice

Apocalypse and Magneto were great in that show.

I wonder what storylines the MCU will go with.

We've already seen Dark Phoenix done (not well) twice, and you'd think storylines such as DP and Apocalypse would need a lot of build up.

My hope is that the MCU do the X men stories and villains justice. Apocalypse is a Thanos level threat, so they shouldn't rush him.

Total agreement. X-Men was my favourite also. Just brilliant. Sure it’s a bit dated, the the stories were great.
Spider-Man animated and Spiderman and his Amazing friends, I mean come on. Stan Lee narrating, the music.

That’s about all I watched in regards to Marvel.
And yeh, seems I got mixed up, Avengers Earth Mightiest Heroes was where I saw the Kang eps.
Was well done.

Yeah you should build to Apocalypse exactly like they did with Thanos. Little tidbits and post credit scenes to tease it

They wouldnt do it over as many films though, probably like 5 at most to build up

I think the end goal will be Apocalypse but I am not sure about the stories they initially use. I think the first thing that needs to be established is the team. Are they going classic team or a new version.

Can they build a non Wolverine team?

The character needs a rest for a bit

Though they have shown with Spidey they dont care

I want to see a true Venom film!
Why did they rush the anti hero arc so quickly?
Venom is the villain I need.

Cyclops needs some proper love

I feel in the end he got utterly cucked by the film series

Innit! Cyclops needs to be respected. Can easily take the place of Cap America.
