Non spoiler feelings after watching it last night...
Good Marvel film that's up there with the better ones probably. Some really great parts, but overall I felt a bit underwhelmed by it (other than the visuals which were great). The plot was okay but pretty basic.
Was a Marvel themed live action episode of Rick & Morty but not as clever.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sounds like what I expect from a Dr Strange movie. The MCU plots in phase 4 have seemed more basic than previous phases. Is the post credit scenes worth staying for and rating out of 10?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rating for the film 7/10.
Mid credits - stay for it
Post credits at the very end (fckin ages to) - infuriatingly pointless to the point of almost feeling like the filmmakers are just bantering you for making you stay for it.

String has a lot to answer for.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Right now, in a middle of a dust up with Liverpool fans.
It’s one of the most bizarre debates. But so far, fairly cordial albeit bonkers. Samir would’ve lost his shiiittt already!!
They seriously asked me, what would I prefer.
79 points or 97 points. And ignore the fact that 79 points won a Prem Title, while 97 points won nothing.
It makes no sense, this is the mighty Liverpool, why are some of their lot coming at me with this foolishness!?!
Wait a dang minute!! It’s like they are being mind controlled, like something Wanda would do!!
But it’s Samir
DAMN YOU SAMIR!!!!
When you see Chow you tell him SAMIR says "Hallooo"
But do it like that, like threatening "Hallooo"
String mate have you told him to Samir deez nuts on his face like I suggested?
Oh, you’ve had the joys of crossing paths with Samir too?
Hey Yo MEFC, have you seen that article. It’s Welshpool Fan and Got_Better teaming up for this foolishness.
I think that’s the first time in about a decade that GB has replied to me directly.
Scary times.

he’s not appeared, although I have mentioned Arsenal which I thought might get a reaction. But it’s bad enough when Got_Better pops up.
Dudes like Thanos compared to Samir’s Salacious Crumb.

Re 2nd post credit scene, they did something similar for Spiderman Homecoming. It still got a laugh out of me even though I was pisssssed for waiting that long
I agree with the 7/10 rating too. Which isn’t bad. I was just anticipating a 9 or 10
Also the first post credit scene completely ruined a cliffhanger ending imo. Wish they didn’t do it
7 seems like you enjoyed it.
But I’ll come back on here for spoilers of the post credit scene, cos I’m done with them.
You know… cos of the whole Morbius thing.

Better or worse than the original? Thought it was quite inventive visually, was a decent watch. .

Ok thanks, I'll skip the 2nd post credit scene and catch a replay on youtube.
I'd give the first Dr Strange movie a 7.5/10, so if the sequel can equal or better that, I'm happy.
I've never been a huge fan of Dr Strange, so my expectations aren't as high as they were for a movie like No Way Home.

Yeah 7.5 or 8. Decent character build up, and very inventive sequences.
Its good. 7 out of 10 is fair. Disney execs really ruined the potential with their insistance on reshoots. leaks last year there would be an end game sized battle in conclusion with many many old figures but it was not too be.
One thing was very, very dissapointing about this film and i think everyone who has seen it will know what that is.
Hmmm, so there seems to be a general feeling that, so far the film is good. 7 is a good rating, and that with a few decisions stopped it from being a classic.
That’s not too bad I guess. Quite looking forward to it now. Didn’t really have any expectations, cos Dr Strange’s world, is very strange. Maybe great timing to see a film like this after watching Moonknight.
Still walking out the moment the Credits start though…
Post thor 4, i worry for the MCU. Im fairly intrigued by antman 3 and guardians 3. But not much apart from that.
They need to pencil a fantastic four film. Never been a huge fan of that team but its probably because all of their films have been awful. Im sure marvel can get something out of them.
You know Rude, the first part of Josh Tranks Fan4stic was pretty interesting, then went to hell when it cut to black and jumped forward.
Oh, and Kate Mara’s hair kept changing mid scene didn’t help. But how they can’t execute a good Dr Doom on the big screen is criminal.
Dr Doom really shouldnt be a fantastic four villain if theya re smart, he is a new avengers level threat. critical they get him right.

There are plenty of MCU 9/10s. Infinity Wars, Winter Soldier, GOTG, Thor Ragnorak, even End Game
Vlad, did you say Winter Soldier? 9/10?!
Let me just grab some popcorn 🍿… Baz should be about any minute.
I’m in total agreement btw
I do rate comic book films in a sort of bubble of their own.
I cant in good faith say that winter solider is just a point below the godfather as an overall film.
But in terms of Mcu films
9s are winter soldier, civil war, iron man, first avengers, infinity war.
