Just spoke to Metro, who’s comments were a dig at Mourinho and not SAF. I don’t think for one minute his comments were meant to offend anyone but I agree it is not the time to joke. ✌️

It happens, sometimes you misjudge things. As a teenager in the mid 1990s Fergie was a huge iconic cultural figure for me so it is quite sobering to hear the news of his health issue.

Manchester United have just sent this statement: “Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone emergency surgery today for a brain haemorrhage. The procedure has gone very well but he needs a period of intensive care to optimise his recovery. His family request privacy in this matter.”
Sounds positive
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You'll never know with these kind of illness. Had it in my own family. Next 2 days after surgery are important.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah mate my dads brother died, having never come out of the coma.
Its very serious
People like Metro are trolls. A period away from online forums will do him good. Ban the idiot.

He looked so well last week, just watch the way he conducted himself towards Wenger and he got Mourinho to come over whilst presenting Wenger with his gift, the man ooozes class.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly. Never saw it coming.
But then again, health can change in a short moments time.

Not funny lad
One paper saying he has died, but not confirmed

Metro, whatever you have said that made OP delete your comment must have been truly offensive. You as a Liverpool supporter should know that issues of life and death go far beyond sport (and club rivalry). I'm an Arsenal supporter and wish SAF a speedy recovery.
he'll pull through, hope it'll be all fine
he looked fine recently!

He was making jokes about not having to watch Jose's football or something. Outrageous
Not a lot can be said really.
Just hope he makes it back to his family in good health and as soon as possible

Brain haemorrhage can come out of nothing guys.
this type of thing 'usually' gets triggered by something that raised his blood pressure immensely
hope it was nothing serious that triggered it
hope he pulls through

Get well soon gaffer.
No way! Hope the gaffer pulls through.
What did metro say the cant.
Apparently had a OP and went well.
Greatest Manager both North and South of the border, hope he recovers quickly!
Cheers Admin 👍
It’s a funny one, as a huge Liverpool fan a part of me couldn’t stand him like every other Liverpool fan but it actually gets to a point where you have to just appreciate that he was a sensationally man / manager.
I live and breathe football and love talking about all football related stuff. I heard Alan Smith ex Leeds and Utd was the nicest fella ever and that a Rio was a top lad - I hated these players but as I got older you realise that most of these people are very different off the pitch and I make a point of telling other reds how nice Fergie was
my dad's older brother had it and pulled through, something drove him insane to trigger it (right in the middle of a board meeting)

I only saw him recently in the OT game against Arsenal. I got really scared just then.
I am glad I went to a game with him as manager. Hopefully he makes a full recovery.
Wow, it’s hard to even think of SAF being anything other than powerful & in control!
Hope he pulls through and have a feeling he will, god willing!
