For there to be so many people saying the same thing (not stonewall, but erring on either side) plus a referee backed with VAR concurring, surely you have to look at your view of it?
It's not my view Ledley, it's just view of the video. Would be like seeing a murder on camera and disregarding that evidence.
And you said you thought moses aimed at youngs arm mate, so forgive me for not taking your view too seriously. Moses can't go round a dustbin without knocking the lid off let alone aim a cross at youngs arm.
The main thing is the unnatural movement of young arms.
Also it is only two people, not so many, saying it's not stonewall. All the utd fans I know in group chats etc said it was a pen. And most on here on the day.
"It looks to me more a case of Moses trying to kick it against his arm to win a penalty."
That literally made me laugh in the office though so fair play.

Moses has clearly gone to try and injure Young there and Young has done well to avoid. Even though Young avoided injury, the intent was there from Moses so should have been a red.

Basically, anyone who actually plays/played football and understands that situation will say it isn't or is 50/50. Anyone who just watches football will say definite.

He was about 2ft from the ball, how was he supposed to move his hand away?
Jones should've been sent off though.

Well mate, still waiting for them examples

The fact you say it is definite supports my statement.

Another nonsense statement to back up the previous nonsense statement. Are you going to go for the hattrick mate?

why are they imaginary. And I watched all the post match interviews and didn't see anyone say it was not a stonewall.

Disclaimer : !WATCH THE VIDEO!
Shows it's a stonewall penalty, I don't know what the debate is about.
The real debate is what VAR shows, did it show the sideways and behind the goal angles that show a definite pen? Would be interesting to know.
Greatteams all you have to do is watch the video. Who were all these people that claimed it was not a pen?
Moses intentionally hit the ball at Young's arm and the rules state that if there's intent, it has to be a penalty.

I have watched the video and like most things, slow motion makes it look worse than it was. His arm isn't in an unnatural position considering his body shape and momentum and it definitely wasn't deliberate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Slow motion can make it look worse, but your saying it doesn't look like a pen, so that can't be the case, in this case slow motion just shows he jerks his arm forward, dips his shoulder to cut out the cross. I don't know how you run but I certainly don't run like that.

Moses was probably trying to shoot lol
Nick - from the video you've posted, the first angle makes it look like a penalty and the second one doesn't. In fact, to me, it looks less like a penalty in that video that the angle they showed during the match where it showed a small elbow movement toward the path of the ball.
