Against this Indian team if the pitch is as flat as this they can chase anything. Expecting high scoring matches in the one days. India have a stronger bowling attack and probably more balanced.

Pandya goes from being ridiculous to sublime. That first over he bowled the other day I thought here we go but he ended up with four wickets from his other three and a spanking of the ball when he came into bat. I really hope he fully fulfils the potential he has of being a world class all rounder rather than an enigma.

India have an excellent chance of taking both limited over series' even with Bumrah's absence - not that I'm too bothered about those. Would be far happier seeing them win a couple of tests.

First ODI game today at Trent Bridge. Hales misses out for England and Bumrah unavailable for India after breaking his thumb in Ireland. Should be a good series between the top two ranked sides in the world.
