I agree Hildreth won't get a chance, but it's worth mentioning he's only the same age as Ali Cook. Not past it by any stretch.

Agree with this by the way, the Aussies obviously brought players like Rogers (back) and Voges into their team in their mid 30s. They obviously both did pretty well when they came in.

He's coming into the 3rd test for Sam Curran. Thought that might happen, harsh on Curran though.

Sam Curran's left arm would look good to Root just now. The pre match hype about how devastating the Anderson-Broad axis is at Trent Bridge has yet to arrive.

What a player Kohli is. Scored runs in every part of the world. Still recall Bob Willis interview saying why should Kohli be allowed to play county and get used to these conditions. Glad that he didn’t play county cause there is no bigger and better way to answer Bob Willis than this performance which Kohli has put in this series.

I have seen some drop catches in my time. But Jennings should be sacked for that attempt of a catch..and for the facts he averages 22 in test cricket and failed in the last 4 innings.
