Lingard missed a sitter though.
Resilience got us the victory.
what a dull game, like watching united play
Sorry OP, Sterling was poor and Rose surely has to start over Young. Lingard also missed easy chances. Maguire also looks a bit out of his depth.

shocking defending from tunisia helped
not sure how they left kane unmarked twice though
Great when we're beating average sides like Tunisia or Panama, but against Belgium, Senegal, Colombia or Poland? Not so sure.
Even as a Scotland fan I've got to give credit where it's due, so well done to Stoke and Tony Pulis for today's victory.

Imagine Henderson & Young against Mexico's attackers

Glad to get that opening game victory hoodoo off our backs though.

Well he was the only one on the pitch who put the ball in the onion bag. We should have been out of sight at HT.

Yes, there were some shocking misses we managed in that half.
Sterling and Young were dire, and Lingard worked hard but lacked composure. We deserved the win mind.
Bring on Panama
Lingard IS overrated, end-of.
I'm working in Stuttgart this week, TFF Kane is all I can say, at least the Germans will be quiet tomorrow.
I thought our best players were Kane, Trippier, Stones and Henderson wasn’t too bad. Walker, Young and Sterling were very poor. Would definitely take Young and Sterling out of the lineup for next game.
Are you high?
Sterling is absolutely dreadful

ffs
I liked Ruben Loftus Cheeks and Marcus Rashford's efforts and cameos as substitutes.I liked their fearless drive and positive attitude at 1-1.Also Young and Walker were non-existent in terms of good influence today.

It's that fast paced free flowing second ball from a corner that sets England above the rest of the world at the moment
I don’t think the system actually suits our forward players that much at all. It worked in the first thirty minutes as Alli, Sterling and Lingard were changing position well and dominating the midfield. He scored two goals so he’ll get the credit, but Kane was hardly an option for them at all in between those goals. Any time they got it, the midfield was too packed, the attack then broke down.
There has to be more width, it’s stupid playing 352 with Kane and not getting more balls on from wide. I’d actually change the system and go to 433, but he won’t do that, but at the very least get Rose down the left flank (and tell both full backs to push further up - there’s three at the back for a reason).
Loftus Cheek impressed me when he came on. Alli was classy until his knock. Lingard was a bit unlucky with the run of the ball: the one the keeper saved and the one that hit the post could easily have been two goals (but the sitter was bad). Sterling looks shot of confidence for some reason.
I don't like the 3-5-2 either
It was 3-5-2 on paper.
We were 5-3-2 if we are honest with ourselves; against Tunisia.
