Sperling was good,he even spun a big centre back and ran off with the dirty fooker still on his back
Don't get it with sterling he just seems to panic.
And yes Alli is clearly struggling.
So come on Garteh do the decent thing and what is best for England and put these two out of their misery!

He's not a good footballer. Not much to get
How did he panic at all last night? He held the ball up well and put the ball through to Lingard in our only decent bit of play.

My favourite bit is where he didn't control the ball and it went straight out of play for a gk
Right, so how about he misplaced passes from everyone else then? You just ignored that completely, as well as the good things he did like setting up the two best phases of play we had?

Dele with a nice throughball too in the second half. But yeah, we're not carving many defences open.

Not particularly, I hate the system and wouldn’t play either Walker or Sterling in their current positions (and perhaps not at all). If you thought he played badly in the first half though, then I don’t think you understand how Southgates system is set up to work and what he wants from that role. He did explain it himself...
His off the ball movement is great. Sadly everything else is poor. His end product is torrid. That header from a yard out against panama sums him up. Had a couple flashes lastnight, but it's not enough.
Yet his end product created our best chance last night which Lingard should have done better from, where’s the criticism for him?
What end product was there from anyone else? Did Kane even have a shot or get in the penalty area besides the penalty?

Two wrongs don't make a right. Sterling has been our poorest player this tournament. Other than maybe dier.
Alli was far worse last night. I do question what tool are judging though - your own expectations or what Southgate is expecting them to do? As I am certain he would disagree with you.
You are judging not tool!
i'm judging them on performances. It's a game of football afterall.
I'm sure southgate doesn't expect misses from a yard out
So how do you judge that as a poor performance then? What do you think he did that Southgate wouldn't have wanted him to do? Particularly given what Southgate himself said about the system

Play well.
Or not in this case. He miscontrolled it, kept crossing/shooting into defenders. Didn't offer much bar a couple flashes of brilliance. Didn't stretch the defense enough, didn't do much of note. He wasn't the only one though.
So do you think he didn't drop deep and keep the ball well in the first half? You think he didn't turn and run when there was no supporting option in place? You think he didn't play in (through the middle or on the wing) his teammates when there was the supporting option?
Because if you really think that, then there must have been some temporary blindness going on. I'm happy to give examples of each of those in that first half, I'm not sure its worth the effort though...
If we do the same for Alli, can you think of one time he went past the forward line himself, or played in either Kane or Sterling, or created any form of dangerous position? In fact, how about the same question for Kane?
He did stretch the defense though, every match report I've read picked up on that too. What didn't happen was any runners into that space (apart from Lingard in the second half) or anyone playing a ball in behind the defence when he made those runs.
I remember him getting piggy backed if that helps.
But he was poor, no getting away from it.
