Alllardyce is correct unfortunately. Kane let us down big time.

Thankfully his goals got us as far as we did. Add in Trippier and Deles goals aswell as the superb calmness shown by the Spurs players to score in the penalty shoot out v Colombia, I expect most English PL fans to give our boys a standing ovation when we travel to away games. Without the Spurs boys, we wouldn't have made it as far as we did

It Wasn’t Kane’s fault we lost but he did miss a good chance .
Then you also have to blame the keeper who let in the goals or midfielders/defenders who allowed Croatia to score. Where does it end?

The fact that England pinned their hopes o Kane shows how woefully poor we are, can't see it improving any time soon either.

Probably the pinnacle of Southgate's England Managerial Reign, he did well but it's down hill from here for him unless we suddenly find at least one or two World Class players who can claim to play for England from somewhere.

Thank God it was not Sterling who missed that chance. The whole world and their dog would have crucified him.

This time tomorrow night in all probability Lloris, will lift the World Cup for France, and Harry Kane will be crowned the World Cups best striker.

Not bad two Spurs players picking up the two biggest prizes on offer.
