Don't keep record of links but it was quite popular around last year.
First when he at Arsenal then later when he joined Liverppol before deadline day.
Arsenal suffered heavy defeat because of this curse. Later, Liverpool suffered heavy defeat again.
Stopped a bit later though when things changed and he started putting in shifts and also scored a worldy against us.

Yep everyone including Liverpool fans were taking the piiss. Then he stopped being awful and back to plain old average.

Ox's first run of games were tough for him, a league cup game I recall was particularity bad, can't remember who it was against.

But then he scored a gal in a CL game from the bench and then consistently improved.

Just got used to the system. It's his work without the ball, recovery pace and discipline to the system that I like. Him having his best ever Premiership season in terms of numbers is a bonus.

What happens to Karius now? Bit disappointing that one mistake has cost him his job

Interesting question Pride, some talk he will stay on as number 2 should Allison deal be completed, but what does that do for Karius' career?

IMO a move out of the PL would be best, even a loan move and then we have Ward as a back up keeper.

The thing with Karius at Liverpool now is even if he was the number 1 and had 6 flawless months, 1 mistake and the knives are out for him.

Don't think you'll find any Liverpool fans who are still disappointed with us getting the Ox.

I didn't rate him - didn't even want us to sign him. Then Klopp got hold of him and I (and quite a few others) changed my opinion. Very happy to have him as part of the squad.
